Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson confessed to be a pretty old fashioned guy when it comes of love in an interview for the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair Italy. The 24 year-old believes in true love that last forever and claims to be a one-woman type of man.

In “Water For Elephants”, Robert’s character falls in love with a married woman played by actress Reese Witherspoon, which is something he cannot understand in real life. Well, love is unpredictable, unfair, irrational… you make mistakes when you are in love!

Robert said, “Life is not black or white. There are married people that don’t see each other, can we define that as marriage? There is one thing I’ve never understood: why people cheat.”

Ah. Our Rob is a hopelessly romantic. “My parents met when my mom was 17 and my father 25, they are still together and seem very happy. I grew up believing that you can be together all of your life,” he revealed. Is that the type of relationship he and Kristen Stewart have?

In the interview for Vanity Fair, RPattz confessed he has a certain admiration for the troubled actor Charlie Sheen, star of “Two and a Half Men” and admits life isn’t as black and white for someone like them who are forced to live in a bubble.

“I like crazy people who don’t give a f***,” Robert tells the April issue of Vanity Fair.

“I’ve just kinda stopped doing everything,” confesses the 24-year-old actor, up next in Water For Elephants. “I never change the channel in my trailer. I just watch reruns of Tyler Perry’s House of Payne and Two and a Half Men. I love Cops — I think it’s my favorite TV show. God, I sound like such a loser!”

OMG!! Robert looks SO hot. Love the whole “I’m a fearless hunter look”. So, I cannot wait to see the other pictures from this shoot.

Actor Robert Pattinson takes advantage of his messy hair to look adorably sexy on the cover of the latest issue of French Premiere Magazine (June 2009). The 24 year-old confessed his life is very strange right now, but knows that fame may fade rather quickly.

“I live a strange life, I can’t be as open as I’d like. In fact, you learn as you go. Over the years, I managed this situation better and better, I’m more at ease… I think you reach a point after a while: you lose it, become a recluse and turn your back on the whole humanity or you learn to accept it. I am [more relaxed]. I’m starting this new movie that excites me and I just finished another one that I like… On the plus side, you can’t stay the object of stares forever. New actors will come and grab their attention. It only last for a while.”

Rob is so down to earth! We love him!

Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson talks about Kristen Stewart and admits they have great chemistry on screen but claims most of the rumors are just ridiculous. In the Vanity Fair interview, Rob says they do not have secret dates, which doesn’t exactly mean they aren’t dating, and that they learned how to respect each other.

Rob said, “It doesn’t make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]. I’ve literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it’s like ‘Oh, they were on secret dates!’ It’s like ‘Where? I can’t get out of my hotel room!’”

Actor Robert Pattinson and his piercing vampire-eyes cover the latest issue of USA Weekend. The 23 year-old talks about his character, seductive vampire Edward Cullen, the craziness that is his Twilight fame is passion for music.

Here are some highlights of Rob Pattz’s USA Weekend interview:

On his character, Edward Cullen: “In some ways, he’s more relaxed being around humans, and at the same time, he’s competing a lot more with Jacob [played by Taylor Lautner] so he has a lot more petty emotions rather than just thinking in these absolutes like he did in the first two. I’m just trying to keep it interesting for myself as well.”

On what life will be like after Twilight: “I’ve just been so tightly bound. I did another movie in New York over the summer, and it was so tightly bound to Twilight. You have huge groups of fans and paparazzi and stuff, and it was a tiny little indie. It still felt like I was doing a Twilight movie in a lot of ways. It’ll be interesting to see how I’ll feel about the whole thing a couple years after it’s all finished.”

On escaping through his music: “It’s nice to have a bit of artistic or creative endeavor that isn’t so pressurized. So many people have an opinion, especially when you’re doing the Twilight movies. Making this movie, it’s almost as if people have become more concerned with what the fans want the more successful it becomes. The first one seemed more relaxed than this one, and that one wasn’t particularly relaxed. But it’s nice to do music where no one’s too concerned with what I’m doing with it. It’s kind of a relief.”

Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson graces the cover of the latest issue of the British AnOther Man Magazine (October 2009). The 23 year-old actor confessed to be surprised by the success of the Twilight Saga but wants to become to be respect by the public as a serious actor.

Robert revealed, “It’s strange because even though the figures show that the books were successful and sold millions of copies, you couldn’t even buy them in London. I tried a couple of bookshops and they weren’t available. Hardly anyone I knew had read them apart from one girl, a friend of my sister. I had no idea at all. I’d seen Kristen Stewart in ‘Into the Wild‘ and some of the director Catherine Hardwicke’s other films, and that’s all I thought it was, something really small.”

Robert wants to be taken seriously and become a real good solid actor. He said, “Annoyingly, there are so few parts I feel I can add anything to, or that I want to do. I don’t want to be an actor for the sake of it. I don’t find any particular pleasure in being an attention-seeker.”
