Fans of Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson better hang on to their fake vampire fangs, because a brand new RPats is coming to Tinsel Town.

In an interview for the special Cannes Film Fesitval issue of Premiere Magazine, the 25-year-old Brit dished about what it was like to dig in and test his acting chops, working with Cosmopolis director David Cronenberg.

Filming Cosmopolis with David changed something in me… It gave me balls. I have five projects lined up right now that follow the path that movie opened for me. Before, I spent my time doubting myself. As soon as I read a script that I liked, I was working myself up, asking myself if I was good enough. Now, I tell myself: ‘F-ck it! If they want to hire you, go!

We love this new brash and brazen version Robert and are totally psyched about catching Cosmopolis after it premieres at Cannes, later this month!

From vampire, to elephant tamer to ruthless military hard*ss, Robert Pattinson is proving that he really can do it all.

According to sources, the 25-year-old actor has signed on to the military thriller Mission: Blacklist, about the capture and subsequent interrogation of former Iraqi president, Sadam Hussein.

Aw man, haven’t we seen enough lighthearted romantic comedies already this year?

The film’s producer Ross M. Dinerstein assures audiences that this film will be a far cry from Pattinson’s days portraying the often sappily romantic, Edward Cullen.

This movie is a gripping, edge-of-you-seat thriller… I have been inspired by Robert and Jean-Stéphane’s [the film's director] dedication to tell this story in the most authentic way possible.

We can’t wait to see Robert in this new light – or any light for that matter.  Get it?  Because vampires can only come out at night?

Oh come on!  That was a good one!

Just when you thought they’re lives couldn’t get any more glamorous, news breaks that these two star-crossed lovers are forbidden to be together!

According to reports, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are forbidden from appearing at red carpet events together, unless said event is promoting The Twilight Saga.  This may have been why KStew showed up stag to Paul McCartney’s new music video release party… OR, and we’re just speculating here, maybe RPats decided that hanging out with his bros would be a lot more fun than posing for paparazzi on the red carpet for a music video launch party.

But yeah, no it’s probably that first thing…

A source close to the couple confirms that the decision for Kristen to fly solo for the evening was indeed, solely due to mandates in their contracts,

…They also have a clause in their Twilight contracts that they can only appear together at a Twilight themed red carpet together. Twilight kind of owns some of their appearances they do together until Breaking Dawn is 100% completed.

Guess these two will literally have to get a room if they want to spend any quality time together… HEYO!

Twilight star Kristen Stewart celebrated her 22nd birthday in style Saturday night with boyfriend Robert Pattinson and 15 of their closest friends at the L.A. hipster bar Harvard and Stone.

Are these two really still celebrating birthdays?  Seems like that would get a little redundant, considering they are going to live forever!  But we digress…

According to sources, Kristen’s shin dig was no impromptu get together.  Apparently, the ever-romantic RPats planned the bday bash weeks in advance to make sure his lady love had the night of her life.

Rob planned the whole thing a few weeks ago. He talked to the owners and managers about it and wanted to make sure everyone could get in and out without too much trouble… They wanted some privacy, which is why they were in a reserved spot, but there wasn’t a birthday cake…At one point, it was offered but Rob declined. He just wanted a fun night out with friends… Rob and Kristen seemed so comfortable with each other, holding hands and putting their hands on each other’s backs occasionally. They were making goofy faces for pictures and everyone was just having a great time.

Aw, that sounds so nice.  What a good guy.  Wait a minute…  No cake?  Maybe we gave our man a little too much credit here.  What’s a birthday without a cake?

A-List lovebirds Kristin Stewart and Robert Pattinson have become one of Hollywood’s mainstay couples since they hooked up while working on the set of Twilight several years ago, but due to hectic work schedules and the demands of being two of the most sought after actors in the business, one has to ask:  How do they keep the romance alive?

According to sources, the pair do their best to make time for each other as much as possible when they’re not working.  Why, just this week they caught three different concerts, including one last night at The Hollywood Cafe, where their friend Johnny Flynn was performing.

An eyewitness Tweeted that the pair were anything but shy about PDA-ing it up,

ROB LEANING AGAINST THE WALL AND KRISTENS HAS HER BACK TO HIS CHEST… When they kissed they where side by side and at first they were whispering and the Rob bent down and it looked like he was whispering.

A little TMI for us, but hey – a RPats and KStew sighting is pretty exciting!

Wha-what? Nobody?  Yeah, we didn’t think so.

According to a poll conducted by iVillage, 64% of marriage women surveyed said that they would leave their husbands if Robert Pattinson came knocking at their door.

Ummm… these women do know that Robert Pattinson isn’t actually Edward Cullen right?  The survey also revealed that RPats isn’t the only Hollywood hunk causing married women to kick their husbands to the curb.  A startling 13% of women said they’d reneg their vows for Ryan Gosling, followed by a whopping 11% who were willing to file divorce papers over Ryan Reynolds.

Co-stars Robert Pattinson and Christina Ricci lit up the red carpet last night, at the German premiere of their latest film Bel Ami.  The pair looked thrilled and extremely proud of their project, due out in the U.S. March 2nd, but the question pressing on everybody’s mind was…

“Where’s Kristin Stewart?!”

KStew, who’s been diligently working on her own project, Snow White and the Huntsmen, was noticeable absent from RPats side.  We have to assume that after spending a lovely Valentine’s Day together, the two lovebirds had to go their separate ways to continue working on their own individual projects..  At least we hope that’s the reason they split.

We’re sure that’s the reason.  Aren’t we?  I think so. Yes.  We are.

Again with the piano playing?

Okay, we get it – musicians are sexy and so is Robert Pattinson, so why not combine the two?  I’ll tell you why – you’re going to have about a million teenaged girls passing out in the movie theaters from over-exposure to RPat’s hotness.

According to sources, not only will the 25-year-old actor be tickling the ivories again in Breaking Dawn: 2, he’ll be doing it alongside his half-vampire daughter Renesmee.

Musician, vampire AND devoted father?  This is all just getting to be too much!

Twilight composer Carter Burwell recently opened up about what it was like to write the father-daughter duet,

Generally, I don’t actually write anything until a film has actually been shot… But, there are some exceptions. In the movie I’m working on right now, which is Breaking Dawn: Part II, they needed Rob Pattinson and the actress who plays his daughter to play piano onscreen. I had to write this duet before they shot the film so they could actually learn the parts. Rob is a musician, so he prides himself on working out the fingering for these correctly.

Twilight hunka-hunka burnin’ love Robert Pattinson opened up about his blushing bride’s wedding gown in a recent interview with VideoEzy calling her dress “…incredible; It was a beautiful, beautiful dress.”

Oh RPats, you never cease to amaze us.  It takes a real man to open up about his fashion preferences and we love you for that.

Apparently, producers wanted to put Kristen Stewart and a more “Victorian-style” dress, but the ever-obstinate actress fought to wear something that was more her speed.

According to Robert,

When they were talking about it at the beginning, they said it was going to be a Victorian one with a high neck and frills — what are those called, doilies? They look like doilies. And I think Kristen fought for something that’s more her taste.

We have to give it to Kristen.  The gown in the Breaking Dawn wedding scene fit her perfectly and is much better suited for her look.  Well played Bella.  Well played.

In a behind-the-scenes video clip from Breaking Dawn: Part 1, cameras caught lovebirds Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart  in several romantic unscripted moments during the filming of their characters’ wedding scene.

How could you help but feel all swoony during that wedding?  I was ready to marry my popcorn after that scene!

In an exclusive interview featured on the extra reel of the Breaking Dawn DVD, Stewart revealed that the whole process “…just felt so real…It felt so cool.”

Should we prepare ourselves for a real life Bella and Edward wedding???  Minus all the vampires and werewolves of course.  I just don’t feel like they would bring good gifts…
