Ashley Tisdale and her boyfriend Scott Speer took time to enjoy the sunshine in California this weekend. The duo were spotted picking up food at Tra di Noi Express and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at Cross Creek in Malibu on Sunday February 28th.

Ashley will be singing in the remake of the 80′s movie Teen Witch, which begins shooting the end of the year.

Vanessa Hudgens celebrated her 21st birthday on December 14th while she was in Vancouver filming Sucker Punch. Her longtime boyfriend, Zac Efron, got her a very green and eco-friendly gift: three fruit trees for her backyard. The citrus trio, a lemon, orange and tangerine tree, were planted for her as a surprise when she returned to Los Angeles. Romantic, thoughtful, unique and long lasting – great gift!

Twilight fans who wanted Robert Pattinson to hook up with Nikki Reed are going to be sorely disappointed (granted they were in the minority.) Reed has apparently found her way to Paris Latsis, the heir to a Greek shipping fortune who was engaged to Paris Hilton a couple of years ago. The duo has been flying uner the radar for quite some time and now things are serious enough that they have met each other’s parents.

“They met about six months ago and have been together since. The reason she traveled over to Greece was to be with [Paris],” spills a supertight bud to Nik. And we mean supertight.

Remember when we told you why N.R. was skipping out on Italy back in May? Well, she wasn’t only spending time with her family, but it seems that she was introducing them to Mr. and Mrs. Latsis, too!

“Both families have met, and really like each other. That’s how serious it’s getting between [Nikki and Paris],” ‘fesses a good friend of the couple. “Robert Pattinson is nowhere on the radar. She’s upgraded, in her mind.”

Hopefully Reed and Latsis are as happy as reported.

As soon as she can, Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez wants to call it quits to television series acting and concentrate on movies and college. While she is looking forward to filming WOWP again in August, the Disney star has her sights set on the future and wants to be like actresses who go to college and stay in the industry.

“I’m going to try to pull a Natalie Portman,” Gomez says, keeping her fingers crossed that she’ll get into and graduate from her “dream” school, Northwestern University.

“Natalie went to Harvard while shooting ‘Star Wars,’ ” she says, making it clear she’d like to move on to movies eventually.

“I don’t know how she did it. I want to have lunch with her and ask her – that seems like a bunch of stress right there.”

For now she is focusing on her work and not on the romantic rumours surrounding her. The 16 year old Gomez is thinking of studying drama and journalism in college.

Actor Michael Angarano has signed on to star in the film ‘Ceremony.’ Jesse Eisenberg (you-know-who’s co-star from Adventureland )is in talks to take the other main role in this indie romantic comedy.

[...]“the comedy follows a young man (Eisenberg) who falls hard for an older woman about to be married. The infatuation prompts him to take along his unwitting friend (Angarano) to a beach town in an effort to break up the wedding. Upon arriving, the young men quickly realize just how out of place they are among the stately British groom-to-be and his guests.”

The talented actor’s work has been overshadowed by all the speculation on his personal life but now, we have news of a new project for him. Finally! Something involving Angarano that doesn’t involve Kristen Stewart!

At the premiere of her newest movie, The Wrestler, Evan Rachel Wood was kissed by her co-star Mickey Rourke setting off the rumor mill the two were now dating. Although she has dated an older man (you may recall her infamous hook-up with Marilyn Manson) the actress denies any romantic feelings toward Rourke.

“Mickey and I are very close, but it’s not romantic. It’s like we’re father and daughter.”

Wood seems to be enjoying her new sense of freedom since splitting from Manson.

Rugged, red-headed royal Prince Harry is taking his girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, to the romantic island of Mauritius this New Years for a secluded getaway. The pair have not had a lot of time together as she is finishing working with a prestigious law firm this term and he has been with his army regiment. The Prince of Wales is reported to be spending some serious cash on this vacation.

They are booked into a junior suite in one of the island’s most luxurious hotels for eight nights and will wake up each morning to the sound of the crystal-clear Indian Ocean lapping on the sand outside their room.
