The long wait is finally OVER!

The Vampire Diaries returns tonight with episode 12 “The Descent” and it’s all new! All Delena shippers rejoice – Damon and Elena get close and hug – at least for a moment (see that photo below.) Caroline is getting kissed by Tyler and Matt and Rose descends into madness.

Here is the official synopsis:

DOOM, GLOOM AND PERSONAL GROWTH — Stefan (Paul Wesley) has his own ideas about Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) new plan for the future.  While Damon (Ian Somerhalder) tries to get the truth out of Jules (guest star Michaela McManus), he asks Elena to keep an eye on Rose (guest star Lauren Cohan), a situation that turns unexpectedly dangerous.  Caroline (Candice Accola) and Matt (Zach Roerig) try to be honest about their feelings for one another, and Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) reaction to Caroline’s generosity comes as a surprise to her.  Damon struggles to hide his true feelings when a life-and-death crisis hits him harder than he expected.  Matt Davis also stars.  Marcos Siega directed the episode written by Sarah Fain & Elizabeth Craft (#212).

Don’t forget to watch at 8pm on The CW. The show is up against American Idol so help out TVD and tune in tonight.

The Vampire Diaries is all new tonight with episode 8: “Rose.” In this and next week’s show “Katerina,” we begin to learn more about the evil Katherine and the two vampires that kidnapped Elena in “Masquerade.” Here is the official synopsis of “Rose:”

AN ANCIENT PRESENCE IN MYSTIC FALLS — Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) come to Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) assistance and, in the process, learn surprising new information about people, vampires and events in the distant past. Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) helps Bonnie (Katerina Graham) after she casts a difficult and exhausting spell, and Caroline (Candice Accola) does what she can to make things easier for Tyler (Michael Trevino). Finally, Stefan and Damon reach a new understanding.

Harvey Kindlon, the 11 year-old schoolboy who tried in vain to present actress Megan Fox with a rose will get his chance tonight in New York City. Fox was walking the red carpet at the London premiere of her latest movie, ‘Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen’  when Kindlon extended the rose. The actress was led past him and says she did not even see him thru all the flashes from the cameras.

Kodak Film offered a $5000 reward to anyone who could locate the youngster in the picture (see pic and story here) and he was found on Facebook. The London boy is being flown in to the Big Apple with his Mom and a friend to meet the actress Friday night and give her the flower, face to face.

Fox, for her part, has been extremely kind and truly seemed upset that this had happened. Can’t wait to see the pictures of their meeting!

Actress Megan Fox has made many a man weep because she doesn’t date them, however the actress accidently snubbed a young fan while walking the red carpet and now she is offering her apologies. While in London for the premiere of her movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the red hot actress walked past a young boy trying very hard to give her a rose. With all the hullaballoo going on around her and the flashing lights aimed right at her, Fox has said she did not see him and feels awful about the unintended brush off.

The star is promising to make things right with the boy.

“If you know his name, I will send him a personal apology,” she says. “I’m horrified. I would never do that.”

“I’m sorry, sweet boy,” she goes on. “I would never do that to you, and I would gladly accept your rose if I see you again.”

That really is sweet of her to acknowledge him and offer an apology.
