Zac Efron has just left his relationship with Vanessa Hudgens behind but is he ready to pick up a new one so fast?

Efron has hit headlines with the rumored romance of his costar Taylor Schilling in The Lucky One but the two are not dating.

The story originated from Star magazine with an insider reporting Schilling, 26, and Efron, 23, had instant chemistry (I sure hope so for the movie’s sake,) however it’s nothing more than two very good looking costars on set.

“They joke around, eat together sometimes, run lines,” a source from the set told the site. “Nothing out of the ordinary.”

While filming in New Orleans, Efron has hooked up with another famous face: Kellan Lutz. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn was also filming in NOLA and Efron has hung out with Lutz and friends. Described as a “rowdy bunch,” they could be why Efron is ready to play the field a bit and having some fun.

Covering the holiday issue, Taylor Swift is red hot for Seventeen magazine. The 20 year-old music superstar wears a one shoulder fire engine red dress with gold spots, perfect for holiday parties.

The Speak Now singer, who is rumored to be seeing movie star Jake Gyllenhaal, had this to say about love:

“I haven’t had that one great love, which is good. I don’t want that to be in the past. I want it to be in the future.”

Swift also shared that she’s always loved Seventeen magazine as it was the first magazine she got a subscription to.

Taylor Swift is making history this month. The 20 year-old music superstar broke three Billboard records last week by having 11 of her songs on the chart at once, the most songs written by one artist charting in the same week and all those songs are off one album.

On Tuesday November 9th, Swift, who has had some intense ups and downs this week, holds yet another title: BMI’s Country Songwriter of the Year - the youngest person ever awarded that honor.

Swift became the youngest recipient of the prize, telling the crowd, “It’s been a really emotional week for me.” And while this week has been filled with highs, it has also had its share of lows as she attended the funeral of a friend on Monday. She added, “He was 21, and I used to play my songs for him first.”

Congratulations on the record-winning weeks, Taylor. It’s unfortunate it was at the same time she was dealing with losing someone so close to her.

Tonight she will perform at the CMA’s (Country Music Awards) and perhaps pick up another trophy as she is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year. It is rumored she will sing “Back To December,” the emotionaly song reportedly written about Taylor Lautner.

Zac Efron might be looking at a role in an American adaptation of the Japanese manga Akira. The actor has (possibly) been offered the lead role of Akira, the young man who develops paranormal/psychic abilities that he looses control over and devastates Tokyo in an apocalyptic explosion.

The movie has been in development for a while and Leonardo DiCaprio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt were also rumored to be attached to the film, but each have denied the casting rumor.

Things have been all quiet on the Taylor Lautner front for a while but that is about to change. The Twilight Saga star is hitting every tabloid with rumors that he is dating his Abduction costar, Lily Collins and now there is a sneak peek at the movie.

First the dating rumors: They originally surfaced back in July as the two were filming together in Pennsylvania. Collins, 21, who is the daughter of Genesis drummer Phil Collins and starred in The Blind Side with Sandra Bullock, was reportedly dating a stuntman and left her then boyfriend after meeting Lautner. Lautner was thought to have ended his romance with on-again off-again girlfriend Sarah Hicks before he began filming and met Collins. Those reports were denied and no sightings of the two together so the story died down. Here we are in November and reports are flying again that the two are indeed, a twosome and that Collins and Lautner have been on the down low for 4 months. If true – well played, young friends!

Abduction - photo and new synopsis: Thanks to Collider.com the brand new image of Tay and Lily with her arms wrapped around him as they huddle in the corner, we have our first view at the John Singleton (Boyz n the Hood) directed spy thriller. The new synopsis of the action film:

The film still doesn’t have a release date (sometime in 2011) but has an amazing cast: Signourey Weaver, Jason Issacs, Danny Glover and Alfred Molina all costar with the young actors.

Lautner is currently in New Orleans filming the last two installments of the Twilight series: Breaking Dawn but are you ready to see Lautner portray someone other than Jacob Black? Does this initial photo make you want to watch him in Abduction?

The search for the next Peter Parker is over. According to The Cineman Source, Logan Lerman has been tapped to play the awkward teen bitten by a radioactive spider who develops superpowers and becomes the crime fighting Spider-man.

The role was widely sought after and lots of stars had been rumored to take on the action franchise, including Kellan Lutz, Chace Crawford, Daniel Radcliffe and Zac Efron. The director of (500) Days of Summer, Marc Webb is planning on this film being 3-D with the technology from James Cameron’s film Avatar.

There will be no wedding in the near future for Leighton Meester as was previously reported. The actress and her beau, Sebastian Stan are apparently not heading down the aisle as had been rumoured. Word of the duo getting hitched started when it was reported they had changed their status on their Facebook pages to “engaged.” Still no official denial or confirmation from either of the actors or their reps but we now hear that neither have a Facebook page.

‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer Katy Perry has taken to her blog to say, no, she and Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy did not get engaged in Paris as was reported on many a website.

In a posting entitled “From the horse’s mouth”, written on her blog on Wednesday she proclaims, “NOT engaged! But thanks for the free press, New York Daily News! You should fact check with the source before you spread world-wide news like that.”

Perry and McCoy have been dating for a long time and McCoy is godfather to Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson’s baby boy Bronx Mowgli. McCoy also gave Perry a promise ring this past summer.

The Jonas Brothers are still together and still strong according to their post on their MySpace page. Kevin Jonas is not attempting to fly the coop and deliver new music without his siblings. The three brothers hope to continue together for years to come.
