“Ginger At Heart” Rupert Grint At ‘Harry Potter’ Premiere
Written by Violet on November 16, 2010 – 9:39 am -Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 premiered in New York City at Alice Tully Hall with star Rupert Grint on the black carpet Monday (November 16th) night.
The actor says he has become sort of a poster boy for red-headed folks and is quite proud:
“It’s funny the reaction I get from the ginger community. People with red hair get a hard time, but I’ve always managed to escape it, I’ve never had any negative reaction to it. I’m a very proud ginger. Ginger people in the street shake my hand and it’s nice. I would dye it for a role, but I’m a ginger at heart.”
Rupert is lucky to have escaped the bullying that people with red hair can endure. People with ginger hair often dye it to escape the torment.

Tom Felton Takes The ‘Harry Potter’ Black Carpet In Stride
Written by Violet on November 16, 2010 – 9:13 am -Tom Felton came out to the New York City premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 at Alice Tully Hall on Monday (November 15th) night. The actor spoke about his character, Draco Malfoy and his softening in the final films:
What has Draco learned since Half Blood Prince?
He’s learned that he’s not cut out to be the villain that he once thought he was. He’s certainly realized that his father isn’t quite the greatest influence or role model that he once took him for. And I think he realizes that he’s in a really horrible place now, he’s terrified to be where he is. And I think he sympathizes with Harry a little bit and he wishes he could have helped him out earlier on.
What’s it like playing remorseful Draco instead of mean Draco?
It’s cool. It actually really nice, it’s always nice to play something differently or find something new. It’s always nice when a character has a journey or an arc like this. And in these last two films you really see him step out of his father’s shadow and start to think for himself.
Tom will hit the July premiere for the final Hogwarts movie and Felton’s next film, Apparition with Ashley Greene is due September 2011.

Rupert Grint Parade Interview: Life After Harry Potter
Written by Gossip Gal on October 31, 2010 – 12:18 pm -Actor Rupert Grint, who is best known for his portrait of Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies, is mature enough to get rid of his image as a young wizard to become a serious young actor ready to embark in more difficult challenges.
Rupert Grint’s ‘Wild Target’ Trailer
In an interview for Parade Magazine, the 22 year-old admits he is shocked with his evolution over the years, claiming he does not age gracefully and looks like a younger version of Donald Trump. Rupert also proudly talks about his new movie, a dark comedy titled “Wild Target”. Here are some highlights:
Life after Harry Potter: “We had like a big wrap party when we finished and it was really nice to see everyone again from all the films. I haven’t quite adjusted to life without Harry Potter. I’m really sad actually, I’ve missed it. But I think it’s a good time really to kind of move on. It has been a long time. After ten years, I do kind of want to stretch a bit more and explore different characters and do different things.”
Maybe he could try Celebrity Apprentice: “I don’t age gracefully in the last film when all of us get older. My hair is still red but I have a lot less of it. It was quite a shock when I saw myself in the mirror. I felt like I was looking at Donald Trump because they gave me that comb over that he has. I did get a lot of ribbing from everyone, I must admit.”
What’s he’s been doing in his spare time: “I had my tonsils out recently. Something I’ve always kinda needed because I’ve always had freakishly large tonsils. It’s always affected my sleeping. But it was an operation I could never have when I was filming because there was no time to convalesce. I’m finally on the mend. It was very painful, but thank God they’re out.”
Wild Target vs. Harry Potter: “Wild Target was quite different from Harry Potter. There’s a lot of car chases and shooting people and stuff, not to mention stunts where you’re running and stumbling. The gun play was quite scary and kind of intimidating, especially firing a machine gun. It really took me a while to get used to it. You don’t know where to point it or anything. But in the end it makes you feel quite nervy, although it’s completely safe because you’re only shooting blanks.”

Harry Potter Posters – Still More
Written by Violet on October 16, 2010 – 10:42 am -Two more Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 movie posters have surfaced. This time Tom Felton’s Draco Malfoy and Dobby the House Elf get the super close up shots. The posters really do convey the sense of tragedy and fear that these last two movies are set to bring about.
I have to say – I am looking forward to the movie, but hope the posters are going to come to and end. It’s only a month more to go before the movie debuts (November 19th.) I know I want behind the scenes interviews with the cast and some more teaser clips. Thankfully at least one new trailer is on the horizon. The new clip is set to be shown at tonight’s Spike TV 2010 Scream Awards. The ceremony takes place tonight in Los Angeles but won’t be shown until Tuesday October 19th. I’ll probably watch it just for that.

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and more characters below.

Rupert Grint ‘Wild Target’ Trailer
Written by Violet on October 6, 2010 – 9:35 pm -Although Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 may be on most fans mind’s when they think of a Rupert Grint movie due this fall, Grint has another film being released in the US in October. Wild Target will have a limited screens opening on October 29th. Rupert costars with Bill Nighy (who is Rufus Scrimgeour in the Potter films) Emily Blunt and Rupert Everett.
Bill Nighy is Victor Maynard, a middle-aged, solitary assassin, who lives to please his formidable mother, Louisa (Eileen Atkins), despite his own peerless reputation for lethal efficiency. His professional routine is interrupted when he finds himself drawn to one of his intended victims, Rose (Emily Blunt). He spares her life, unexpectedly acquiring a young apprentice in the process, Tony (Rupert Grint). Believing Victor to be a private detective, his two new companions tag along, while he attempts to thwart the murderous attentions of his unhappy client (Rupert Everett).
This comedy looks very funny in stark contrast to the dark tone HP 7.1 will have in November. The film was released in the UK in June and is finally going to be stateside for the fall.
Check the trailer below and let us know: what do you think- are you ready to see Rupert portray someone other than Ron Weasley?
