Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson has embarked in a new adventure – Cosmopolis! In the movie, Robert plays a 28 year-old multi-millionaire named Eric Packer, who gets involved in a risky adventure while he rides through Manhattan in a limo.

Robert and his wife, actress Sarah Gadon, ride the limo together in the first picture from “Cosmopolis”, which was taken by Caitlin Cronenberg, the daughter of the movie director, David Cronenberg.

The Twilight actor is currently filming “Cosmopolis” in Toronto, Canada – check out pictures of RPatz on the set of the movie below. “Cosmopolis” is set to hit movie theaters in 2012.

Robert Pattinson has a new leading lady! The Twilight star is going to replace Kristen Stewart with a new actress named Sarah Gadon, who will play his estranged wife in a new futuristic thriller titled “Cosmopolis”.

The 23 year-old actress is best known for her work in ABC’s “Happy Town” and CBS’ “Flashpoint”. Sarah also starred in “Cadet Kelly”, a Disney Channel movie. The role of RPattz’s wife was first offered to Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard and Keira Knightley.

In “Cosmopolis”, Robert plays Eric Parker, a 28 year-old multimillionaire who basically loses a fortune in the course of one day, while trying to deal with the normal daily issues and a murder attempt. Production starts on April 4, but the movie still doesn’t have a release date.
