Did Miley Cyrus Nude Photos Leak Online?

Written by Violet on December 3, 2010 – 5:10 pm -

Short answer – NO.

Miley Cyrus is getting a lot of attention for all the wrong reasons. Yesterday internet search engines went crazy with the possibility that Cyrus had nude photos of herself show up online. The pics reportedly came from her iPhone that was in her stolen purse.

A few sites had published the photo of a naked young woman with an open flannel shirt and identified her as Miley. The image was cropped at the neck and people were so eager to believe this was Cyrus even though the one identifying feature – her Just Breathe tattoo under her left breast – was missing. The girl has now been identified as a 19 year-old from London who claims to be a Cyrus look-a-like.

*Sigh* I am relieved it isn’t Miley. I know she seems to want to shed her Disney good-girl image – that’s fine, it’s certainly her choice – but I’m glad she is wiser now and these pictures are not hers at all. And isn’t it sad how ready everyone is for this to be real? Whether you like her music or movies or not, it’s really a shame how badly people want to see her fall into a scandal.

What do you think? Let’s hear what you have to say below!

Daniel Radcliffe: Tour Guide for Obama Girls

Written by Violet on January 27, 2009 – 1:09 am -

Growing up in the media spotlight, actor Daniel Radcliffe has had quite a charmed life. Among all that Hollywood hype, he has maintained a true british sense of self and is quite well-read, politically minded and very charming. He is passionate about politics – both American and British and has this to say about our new president, Barack Obama:

“I am so proud and happy for this country. He is everything the rest of the world liked about America and now likes again. He is both Martin Luther King and JFK. He is a pioneer. He is a symbol of progress which is what we dig about this country. What you love about England is all the old buildings and such. The traditions. I love that, too. But this is what we want from you.

And may I? I’d like to take this opportunity to issue a public invitation to the Obamas that if their daughters would like a private tour of the Harry Potter set, I would be honored to be their personal tour guide.”

Radcliffe also reveals a love of poet John Keats, that Robert Pattinson would win in contest of who girls prefer, his opinion of the Prince Harry scandal, and a very funny Broadway showtune he performs that pokes fun of his character in Equus. Check out the interview at The Daily Beast.
