As both the Twilight and Harry Potter movie series wrap up in the next couple of years, the actors are working on their longevity in the business, signing on to new roles. Ashley Greene is costarring with Sebastian Stan in Apparition and now Draco Malfoy thespian Tom Felton joins the cast of the supernatural thriller.

“As far as my character goes, obviously he’s not an evil, jealous wizard,” Tom said with a laugh. “He’s a college student, a very intelligent, confident young man who’s really excited about what he’s getting himself into. At the same time, he has no idea what he’s getting himself into. This character has such a wide range in one movie. He starts off as a real go-getter, and as the story goes on, you really see him turn.”

Felton also mentions one big physical change from what we are used to: no blonde hair.

This movie sounds like it has great potential and I’m looking forward to seeing the Twilight and Harry Potter actors in other roles.

Gossip Girl costume designer Eric Daman released his fashion guide You Know You Want It: Style - Inspiriation - Confidence on December 15, 2009. On Tuesday January 12, 2010 he gathered his GG guys and gals for a launch party celebrating the success of the book. Jessica Szohr, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Blake Lively and Michelle Trachtenberg were among those who turned out.

Apparition is set to start filming in Germany next month and Gossip Girl’s Sebastian Stan has joined Ashley Greene as a co-star for the supernatural flick. Directed by Todd Lincoln, the story follows a couple who have been haunted after a college experiment that goes horribly wrong.

Twilight gal Greene will next be seen in Skateland, showing at the Sundance Film Festival later this month and Stan’s Hot Tub Time Machine, with John Cusack, will appear in theaters March 19, 2010.

‘Gossip Girl’ co-stars and real life couple Leighton Meester and Sebastian Stan are reportedly moving in together very soon. The duo have been seeing each other for some time and earlier this year they have faced rumors of engagement and for Meester, an alleged sex tape (which she says is a fake.) The actress is refreshingly honest about who she is and tells Harper’s Bazaar:

“I don’t want most of what comes along with all of this. I’m doing everything I can to keep things separate. I feel like my friends are in a cult because we’re like, ‘No outsiders!’ I’ve never been crazy. I’m a very good girl, to be honest. I don’t do anything to hurt anybody. Honestly, all I ever do is work.”

It is great to see someone who can live her life happily and away from the cameras and still be satisfied.

Leighton Meester and her boyfriend Sebastian Stan often have to endure watching their partner make out with another actor for their show ‘Gossip Girl.’ While some find it awkward, Stan says it’s just a part of the job.

“It’s work and everyone shares the same mentality when it comes to that. But we all laugh about it,” he says. “The good part is I get to go home with her.”

The duo frequently has romantic scenes with their onscreen other halves: Ed Westwick (Meester) and Blake Lively (Stan). Great work if you can get it and your significant other is ok with it!

There will be no wedding in the near future for Leighton Meester as was previously reported. The actress and her beau, Sebastian Stan are apparently not heading down the aisle as had been rumoured. Word of the duo getting hitched started when it was reported they had changed their status on their Facebook pages to “engaged.” Still no official denial or confirmation from either of the actors or their reps but we now hear that neither have a Facebook page.

Leighton Meester has been at the center of controversy this week when word of her sex tape leaked to the world. Now the ‘Gossip Girl’  star is announcing her engagement to Sebastian Stan (whom she met on the GG set last year,) on Facebook.com. The duo reportedly changed their relationship status to ‘engaged’ and their reps are refusing to comment. Is this true or a stunt to deflect attention from the tape? (which has been bought by an online company and will be making the rounds soon.) We will keep you updated.
