According to sources, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are being brought in for questioning by LAPD regarding an incident with an over-zealous paparazzo back in May.

Apparently, when police originally arrived on the scene, Bieber and Gomez had already split and now investigators need more info in order to proceed with any legal action.  Specifically, they need Justin and Selena’s side of the story.

As GossipTeen told you back in May, the pair were leaving Calabasas Commons when a photographer refused to move out of the way of Justin’s car.  After exchanging words, The Biebs lost his temper, shoved the cameraman and fled the scene.

While we don’t think violence is ever the answer, maybe these tabloid meatheads should all take a lesson from this and leave these two poor kids alone!

In an interview with the ‘zine, Selena opens up about her relationship with Justin Bieber, calling their time together “really fun,” and adding that she’s “lucky” to have him, but she tries not to get too bogged down with thinking too much about where their relationship is going.

I’m 20. I don’t take anything in my personal life too seriously… I have great friends and a solid group of people I love. I feel like everything else will come organically.

The pop star also chatted about her dream in-studio collaboration:

I don’t think he ever would — I don’t even think he’s doing music anymore — is Justin Timberlake… Just ’cause I love his music sooo much.

Spring Breakers star Selena Gomez shared a picture of her new, edgy haircut via her official Facebook page this weekend, and gang, we’ve got to say – we LOVE it.

It’s not a huge departure for the 20-year-old singer, but the darker hue and blunt bangs really complement her features and make her look ultra grown up.

Speaking of “grown up”, the new look is apparently for her upcoming role in the film “The Getaway”, a remake of the 1972 flick staring Steve McQueen, which is due out 2013 or 2014.  In the film, Selena plays “Kid”, a bank robber on the run, alongside Hollywood heavyweights Ethan Hawke, Jon Voight and Bruce Payne.

According to a recent interview, this role is the first of many more “adult” roles Selena is leaning towards now that she’s in her 20′s.

I was getting kind of repetitive in terms of the roles I was picking, and I really wanted to do something that was completely different. It was a mark thing for me – like, ‘This is what I want to be doing.’ I want to be taking myself seriously as an actress…

No matter the role – The Gomster always looks fabulous, but we’re stoked about seeing her in a more serious role!

Pop star Selena Gomez was serenaded by hundreds of Hollywood A-listers last night, as they helped to celebrate the former Disney star’s 20th birthday!

The singer was presented with a tray of sparkler-topped Sprinkles cupcakes (which she shared with the audience!) before accepting a Teen Choice Awards Surfboard for Choice Musical Group for her band Selena Gomez and the Scene.

“This is the best birthday present ever!” the now-20-year-old pop star exclaimed when accepting her award.

All we have to say is if we were serenaded by Ian Somerhalder, Zac Efron, Josh Hutcherson, the guys of One Direction - oh, and our boyfriend Justin Bieber, that may have been our favorite b-day gift…ever.

Oh Selena Gomez, you are a girl after our own hearts.
