Selena Gomez must reaaallly love her fans because the 19-year-old let them weigh in on what scents would be featured in her latest fragrance. According to the Gomster’s official website (Yes, I’m calling her that now), the main “note” will be raspberries, followed by a heart note of purple freesia and a base note of vanilla.

I have absolutely no idea what that means, but I’m guessing it’s going to smell real purdy-like.

Selena reached out to all her fans who voted, thanking them for being a part of the project,

Hi guys! Thank you so much for participating in helping me create my new fragrance! You have picked raspberry as my top note, purple freesia as my heart note, and vanilla as my base note. I am very excited to share this new perfume with each and every one of you. Please stay tuned for information regarding the launch of my fragrance, available at Macy’s this May, and for the announcement of our 10 lucky winners who will be flown out to New York to help me make my final decision. Again, thank you for your help!

Selena Gomez rocked the black carpet of the 2011 MTV VMAs on Sunday night in a black lacy Julien MacDonald dress with short skirt and long overlay in the back.

The 19 year-old hosted the pre-show and interviewed lots of celebs, including her boyfriend, Justin Bieber and his pet snake (see that video here.) Gomez also hosted the MuchMusic Awards in June this year, adding to her red carpet resume.

Even though Gomez is touring currently, she’s always seems to have another project going – this time she’s working on a new fragrance.
