Disney star Demi Lovato, who was recently in rehab to treat physical and emotional problems, has been through a very difficult stage in her life, so she needs all the good friends she can get. Fellow actress Selena Gomez spoke out to publically offer all her support for her BFF Demi.

In an interview for El Paradiario, Selena denied the two BFFs were feuding, claiming they are still very close and there is absolutely no rivalry between them. However, both Demi and Selena have very busy schedules, therefore they do not see each other as often as they would like.

“Many people believe that there is some rivalry between us, whether because of our ages, our music or the programs that we do, etc. but there is no rivalry. Demi and I have been friends since we were 6-years-old from when we first met while working on the TV show Barney. She is my best friend.”

“Like with Miley, we respect our careers and our friendship and there is much admiration – mutual admiration – that makes us keep our friendship,” continued Selena.

Demi must be happy. It’s always good to hear one of your best friends talk about you and defend you, even when sometimes you do not have time or opportunity to say it face to face. Selena is a sweetheart!

Actress/singer Selena Gomez confessed she says the dorkiest things whenever she talks to boys during an exclusive interview with Twist Magazine. The 18 year-old is not exactly insecure, but we (girls!) all get that a bit nervous when we are talking to guys, especially if we really like them. Girls all around the world can relate to that.

Selena said, “I say the dorkiest things in front of guys. I’m so bad at talking to them, everything I say to boys isn’t cool! I think what make your dorky moments are what make you, you. I’d rather mess up a lot and just be quirky and be a dork instead of trying to be someone I’m not. I don’t want to force trying to be cool, because I’m not!”

“I think that no matter what, the right guy will like everything about you, even the dorky stuff. I mean, I’ve like dorky gusy before!”, she added.

Selena is right! “The One” will like the good things and the flaws. And being “dorky” is kind of adorably cute. So there will be no problem finding a boy who can appreciate you just the way you are.

OH! Can we hope for reconciliation between these two? In a recent interview, Selena Gomez confessed that she is currently way too busy with her career to worry about dating, but also admits that she still loves and will always love Nick Jonas.

“I love him [Nick Jonas],” Selena said. “I’m very, very glad that all of that’s in the past and that I can move forward. It’s very difficult, but… I love him, he’s great.”

“I’m not looking. I’m very happily single and enjoying being 18 and just think boys are kind of not an option at the moment, ’cause I’m kind of really busy,” she explained. “But that’s OK. I think boys give me a little bit of a headache.”

OK! No Nick and Selena romance… for now! Did Selena say she is glad she broke up with Nick or she is glad she is single now!?! I’m confused, but I would love to see these two together again.

Singer/actress Selena Gomez denied rumors that she and Miley Cyrus were fighting over the title of next princess of pop. The 18 year-old admits she is flattered when people compared her to Miley, but she has her own style and wants to be herself.

Selena said, “I was a guest on her show [Hannah Montana] three years ago,” Selena tells Now. “So I’m not sure where this [rumour] has come from. I’m flattered if people say I’m the new Miley, but I’m definitely not trying to be her. I’m just trying to be myself.”

Miley and Selena both dated Jonas Brothers’ Nick Jonas and there are rumors there’s some friction between the two. Nick is Miley’s Prince Charming and Selena lost no time picking up the pieces of Nick’s broken heart when he and Miley called it quits. Drama!

Who can blame her? Selena Gomez has learned the hard way that not everyone loves her and some will actually lose a lot of time writing negative comments. So Selena has decided to stop posting her regular videos on YouTube and to stop reading comments.

Selena said, “I’ve given up the internet. I don’t read comments, and I don’t go on any of the sites anymore, and I just feel better. And it’s not about being a celebrity – you get on MySpace, Facebook, there’s all these different outlets where people can just feel like nobody’s watching them so they can just say whatever they want to say, and that gets dangerous sometimes.”

Seriously, some people don’t know the damage they can do to someone’s life with just a few hateful words but that is what haters do. If you don’t like someone don’t even bother to write nasty comments but you can use your time more wisely if you chose to make some positive comments about someone you admire!!

Actress/singer Selena Gomez opens up her heart to talk about love, boys and a lot of heartache in a new interview for J-14 Magazine. Selena confessed she has only kissed three boys in her entire life and she fell so hard in love for one of those boys that she completely forgot who she was.

Selena became a completely different person because she wanted to please him so badly. She said, “I changed everything — my clothes, my hair, the way I talked — everything!”

The 17 year-old finally learned her lesson when she realized she wasn’t the person her family and friends knew anymore. Selena now sees that a lot of her friends do the same thing. “I feel like girls tend to change themselves for people,” Selena says. And that’s one big lesson she’s learned the hard way. “All the stuff I went through — I’m not apologizing for it,” she tells J-14. “I’m still trying to find myself.”

Is it just me or everyone turns into a romantic fool around this time of the year. Super cute Selena Gomez, who was named the best dressed star of 2009 by Teen Vogue, revealed that a guy painted her a picture and that totally melted her heart.

“Last year, someone painted me a picture,” she confesses to TWIST. “It was amazing. It was actually a picture of us! It was very sweet and he spent five hours on it. It was beautiful!”

Hmm! Who was that mysterious guy?? Was it Taylor Lautner?? Or Nick Jonas?? Oh, teen love is just so beautiful and sickly sweet!

Another dream that came true for Selena Gomez who has just announced the launch of her own clothing line titled ‘Dream Out Loud’ that will feature “pretty, feminine and bohemian clothes”.

Selena revealed: “It’s really always been a dream of mine to have a line… With my line, I really want to give the customer options on how they can put their own looks together… I want the pieces that can be easy to dress up or down, and the fabrics being eco-friendly and organic are super important.”

We bet the clothing line will be just as young, fresh, classy and adorable as Selena. There is still no information about where the clothes will be sold and when they will be available.

Super cute Selena Gomez recalls how she met her ex-boyfriend, Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner, and reveals it was one of the best time of her still young life. Taylor made her real happy and she just couldn’t stop smiling. Aw… how cute!!

“Kristen [Stewart] was staying in my hotel. He would visit her, so we were constantly running into each other in the lobby – and we ended up meeting,” Gomez says. “We would go out to lunch and dinner, but I knew he had paparazzi following him and I had paparazzi following me. So we literally just wanted to hang out, go bowling and stuff, and it went a little too far, I think. People were getting a little crazy about us.”

“But it was fun – I went to Vancouver thinking I was going to focus on my work, but instead I got to meet him, and it ended up being the best thing ever.” she says. “He is so sweet. Taylor has made me so happy. I didn’t know I could be that happy. You probably see it in the pictures! I’m smiling so big.”

In her latest MySpace blog post, Selena Gomez talks about her least favorite word, which is hypocrite, and confesses she never thought she could fall in love… Selena says falling in love is for grown up people who understand its meaning.

Selena blogs: “I remember when i was 12 telling my friends i would never ever wear dresses because i thought they were too prissy. Now I own more floral dresses than pants. Or how i hated mustard and gagged at the sight of it, now I will not touch a hotdog without it. I also said that I would never fall in love until i was much older to really understand the word…..”
