Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez, who is currently promoting her new movie “Ramona & Beezus”, was a special guest star on “The View” on Wednesday (July 21). The 17 year-old (Selena will be 18 tomorrow!) talked about growing up and leaving the Disney’s original series.

Selena confessed she was absolutely nervous when she was told the author of “Ramona & Beezus”, Beverly Clearly wanted to still be around to watch the movie based on her timeless story. Selena also had the chance to show some items from her clothing line “Dream Out Loud” (see video above).

Actress Selena Gomez graces the cover of the latest issue of Girl’s Life Magazine (August/September 2010). In the interview, the 17 year-old talked about growing up too fast, making mistakes, falling in love and boys.
