The LAPD is on celebrity watch again today, and for once, it’s not because Lindsay Lohan’s alcohol monitoring bracelet went off.

According to reports, Wizards of Waverly Place star and recording artist Selena Gomez has received an alarmingly imminent death threat from Thomas Brodnicki, a 46-year-old man with an ample criminal and psychiatric history.

After being picked up by police last month for threatening to “scratch people’s eyes out on the street”, Brodnicki was brought in for a psych-evaluation with his psychiatrist, where he revealed that,

He traveled from Chicago to L.A. to meet [Gomez], visited her workplace at least three times and has told people he had conversations with God about killing her.

Death threats from a 46-year-old dude?  And here I was thinking they were from some crazed teenaged girl with Bieber Fever!

Okay, sorry – this is no laughing matter.

Apparently the LAPD is taking the threats “extremely seriously” (as they should be) and Brodnicki has been issued a restraining order.

“Wizards of Waverly Place” star Selena Gomez is rumored to be shooting a reality show similar to Ashton Kutcher’s “Punk’d” for the Disney Channel, in which she will prank other Disney stars.

Wow. We like that idea! So Selena will not leave Disney as soon as she wraps up “Wizards of Waverly Place” final season!?! That is certainly good news, but it has not been confirmed by Disney yet.

“Selena shot the pilot and it’s basically like Ashton Kutcher’s old show, Punk’d, but with the Disney kids,” a source close to Selena said. “Selena was having a ton of fun with it. She’s a goof ball at heart.”

Funny. Must be a huge coincidence… Selena’s boyfriend, Justin Bieber, pranked his fellow tour mate, Willow Smith, in concert with a little help from his BFF, the “Whip My Hair” star’s brother, Jaden Smith this week – WATCH Video HERE.

Seriously. “Wizards of Waverly Place” star Selena Gomez has proven several times she is a good girl, who would never ever take her clothes off in compromising personal pictures that could end up all over the internet.

Obviously, the photo of an alleged Selena topless in a bathroom is absolutely 100% fake. The girl is definitely not Selena and it actually looks like one extremely lame Photoshopped image. Selena’s camp is furious because someone out there wants to ruin one of our favorite Disney stars’ reputation.

Selena’s people told TMZ, “The alleged photo of Selena Gomez is absolutely not her. Selena’s family is pursuing all available remedies to deal with the offender.”

Miley Cyrus’ little sister, Noah Cyrus, and mommy Tish Cyrus were seen arriving at an audition for Selena Gomez’s Disney Channel original series “Wizards of Waverly Place” held at the Hollywood Studios in Hollywood, California on Wednesday (October 6)- more pictures below.

Noah is looking forward to follow her sister’s footsteps and getting a part on the fourth season of “Wizards of Waverly Place” is a great opportunity to showcase her talents. And being Miley’s sister, it can’t be that difficult to nail that audition.

Singer/actress Selena Gomez and her “Wizards of Waverly Place” co-star, David Henrie, were seen out and about on a “romantic” dinner date at Philippe Chow Restaurant in Hollywood, California on Friday (August 27)- more pictures below.

Selena and David were rumored to be dating more than a year ago, before Selena started a not-so-secret relationship with Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner. For now David and Selena are just good friends, but they really seem to enjoy each other’s company… they also look great as a couple!

Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez, who is currently promoting her new movie “Ramona & Beezus”, was a special guest star on “The View” on Wednesday (July 21). The 17 year-old (Selena will be 18 tomorrow!) talked about growing up and leaving the Disney’s original series.

Selena confessed she was absolutely nervous when she was told the author of “Ramona & Beezus”, Beverly Clearly wanted to still be around to watch the movie based on her timeless story. Selena also had the chance to show some items from her clothing line “Dream Out Loud” (see video above).

Actress/singer Selena Gomez has just finished high school and finally got her diploma. Congratulations! Selena did it! But she also had to film a high school graduation for a upcoming movie, “Monte Carlo”, which means she graduated twice!

Selena wrote on her Facebook, “What are the odds……Today I graduated from high school and got my diploma!!!!! I also filmed my graduation ceremony in the upcoming movie Monte Carlo. So in a weird way I was able to experience an official graduation, LOL. How is everyone doing? What are your plans for the summer? Miss you all and I will update again soon.”

We are so proud of Selena! The 17 year-old has such a busy schedule that you can imagine how hard Selena worked for it. Congrats! If you want a good Disney role model, Selena is one! We ♥ Selena!

Superstar Shakira joined Selena Gomez and the two sang a duet, “Gypsy”, in a very special episode of “Wizards of Waverly Place” titled “Dude She Looks Like Shakira”. The “She Wolf” singer plays Uncle Kelbo, who was cursed and turned into Shakira, in the upcoming episode set to air on April 16 (watch videos below).

Actress Selena Gomez wore a beautiful short Greek-princess-inspired yellow dress on the orange carpet of the 23rd Annual Kids’ Choice Awards held at the UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles on Saturday (March 27).

The 17 year-old actress accepted the awards for “Favorite TV Actress” for her role in Disney’s “Wizards of Waverly Place”. Selena also thanked her fans via Twitter while celebrating her victory with burgers before flying off to Spain.
