Robert Pattinson and Pierce Brosnan sat down for MySpace’s Artist on Artist series and had a lovely chat about their upcoming movie Remember Me. Brosnan was very complimentary to Rob’s performance in the movie, which opens Friday March 12th.

Who’s going to see non-Twilight Rob?

Nickelodeon’s incredibly popular animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender is headed to the big screen with director M. Night Shymalan overseeing the live action film. Jackson Rathbone has left his Twilight character of Jasper Hale behind and plays Sokka, the wisecracking, boomerang-throwing Southern water tribe teen who, along with his sister Katara (Nicola Peltz) help airbender Aang (Noah Ringer) discover his true destiny and restore balance to the world. After casting controversy, Dev Patel has the role of Prince Zuko of the Fire nation and Jesse McCartney is not the banished prince.

The Last Airbender will hit theaters July 2nd, 2010.

The marathon for The Secret Life of the American Teenager is running all day today (Sunday January 3rd) on ABC Family Channel. Monday night, the show returns with new episodes, drama and lots of good stuff. Star Shailene Woodley spoke about upcoming plotlines:

“There’s a lot of new things. Another maybe pregnancy, weddings; there’s a lot of confusion as far as in Ben and Amy’s relationship; there’s a lot of up and downs with Ricky’s character and trying to figure out who he is and what he wants. A lot of the characters are going through that stage in high school where you’re starting to become a person and in that recognition of who you are there’s a lot of confusion and you get scared. And I think a lot of teenagers react in not the best ways and I think the whole next season kind of discovers that and goes into depth of that confusing state of adolescence.”

The Last Airbender, the live action version of Nickelodeon’s popular animated show, Avatar, isn’t due until July but we are finally getting a few more set photos. The pics were in Empire magazine and our friends at BackseatCuddler.com have them for us to take a peek at. No shots still of Jackson Rathbone as Sokka or Dev Patel as Prince Zuko (there is one shot of Dev on the movie’s imdb page here.) Guess we will have to wait until the full trailer is released in February.

I am looking forward to this. The series was great and I have high hopes that M Night Shyamalan does craft a great film from the material.

Forks, Washington is the setting to the very popular fictional series Twilight and now the residents of said Northwestern town may have their own reality show. I just have nothing to say except well, honestly - why? Didn’t the documentary cover whatever we needed to know about a small town with major media issues?

What’s next: MTV’s Real World Forks, WA? UGH! Stop already!

The Jonas Brothers will be on the Disney Channel for a while longer. Not only is Camp Rock 2 heading to the channel, the Mouse House has decided to renew their shows JONAS and Jonas Brothers: Living The Dream for a second season.

“These guys are the superstars of their generation,” [Disney Channels Worldwide entertainment president Gary] Marsh said. “We had the opportunity to extend our relationship with them, which we did.”

The second season will bring a change of producers to the show and the series will be set in Los Angeles as the brothers land gigs in Hollywood. No word if co-stars Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson will also head out west with the guys.

Victoria Justice took over Nickelodeon tonight with a number of shows that featured - her! Gearing up for her series debut, Victorious! the channel gave you some of the best shows and appearances from Justice:

Spectacular! - Nolan Gerard Funk, Tammin Sursok and Justice did the small screen version of Bandslam! and High School Musical all rolled into one.

iFight Shelby Marx - Miranda Cosgrove’s iCarly gets a guest appearance from Justice as a MMA fighter who steps into the ring with Carly after she hears Carly say she can take her.

Tru Jackson, VP - Keke Palmer’s show gets Victoria as a model who offers competition for Jimmy’s (Robbie Amell) affections and a date to the dance in ‘True Crush.’

Zoey 101 - Jamie Lynn Spears (now defunct) show’s second season premiere, ‘Back To P.C.A.’ and Justice is introduced as a new roommate at Pacific Coast Academy.

Selena Gomez took to the web again for episode 4 of her ‘Under Pressure’ series to let fans have a behind the scenes peek at what was involved in the making of her band. This time she tells us about the decision to have a band, how she’s always wanted to be a part of a band and how eventually, she hopes they will just be known as The Scene, but for now her name will help her fans find their music.

In the second episode of Selena Gomez’s web series titled “Under Pressure”, the singer takes us to the studio and gives us a glimpse on the process of making new songs. Selena first album “Kiss & Tell” comes out September 29. Check out Selena’s “Under Pressure” Webisode 1 here.

ep 1 Contract Signing

With her debut album Kiss & Tell only a few days away from dropping, Selena Gomez has taken to her myspace page to start a series she’s calling ‘Under Pressure.’ The first webisode is about signing a recording contract.

Selena & The Scene’s first album comes out Tuesday, September 29th. Are you gonna buy her album? Or just watch her on Wizards of Waverly Place ?

Triwizard Tournament Dragon Challenges, Flight of the Hippogriff, Olivander’s Wand Shoppe, Quidditch gear and butterbeer from Hogsmead village - that and more will be new at Universal Studios Orlando adventure park opening in the spring of 2010. The Florida theme park will present The Wizarding World of Harry Potter as part of it’s Island of Adventure property and visitors will be allowed to tour Hogwarts, have fun on different roller coaster rides and purchase Harry Potter themed items based on author JK Rowling’s imaginative tale.

The estimated cost? $265 million dollars. Hogwarts Castle and Hogsmead Village will be recreated for fans and there will three rides central to the park. One ride is still super secret - “a high-tech experience inside the castle called Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey that involves the likenesses of the heroes from the films.”

In between filming the final two installments of the Harry Potter movies, Tom Felton has peeked at the upcoming park. The Draco Malfoy actor told the NY Times how he felt about the future home of Hogwarts:

“We always say on set, ‘If this place was real, it would be absolutely fantastic,’ ” he said in a telephone interview. “To actually walk into this world and be able to touch it and taste it and smell it — well, it’s just going to be fantastic.”

Now fans worldwide will be able to interact with the beloved characters, long after the films have come and gone in theaters.
