The Scream movie franchise is headed back to theaters with a new installment in April 2011. Scream 4 reunites original director Wes Craven, writer Kevin Williamson and stars Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette with a brand new batch of young actresses and actors lining up to be killed on the big screen. Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Lucy Hale, Aimee Teegarden, Rory Culkin and Shanae Grimes are just a few of the new faces added to the bloody mix – some to survive and some will only last moments at the hands of Ghostface. Emma Roberts is excited for movie goers to catch the Scream 4 when it hits theaters on April 15, 2011. The actress feels this film is better than the 90s super popular trilogy. Roberts says:

“It’s going to be really fun. I think that this is the best one, dare I say. It’s amazing because they have the original cast—Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Neve Campbell—and then we have this whole new young cast we’re introducing that’s, to name a few, me, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin who I’ve done a few movies with, which is great, and Wes Craven’s directing this one, and he’s just one of the coolest people I’ve ever met.”

Unfortunately the plot is being kept super secret but we do know Roberts is playing Jill, the cousin to (Campbell’s) reporter Sydney. In addition to Roberts and Panettiere, Lucy Hale, Shenae Grimes and Aimee Teegarden are part of the huge ensemble cast.

Cameos are plentiful in Scream 4 as Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale is added to the expanding cast. Shanae Grimes of 90210, Kristen Bell and Anna Paquin are also popping in to the ultra successful movie franchise created by The Vampire Diaries head writer Kevin Williamson.

Filming has been underway in Michigan with Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, David Arquette and Adam Brody.

So who is going to be killed in the opening scene? Oh, Mr. Williamson – what trick do you have up your sleeve?

So much fun trying to guess but we will have to wait until April 2011 to find out for sure.

West Hollywood was the place for Jennifer Stone as she hit the red carpet for the Nylon + Express Denim Issue party on Tuesday evening. The actress, who just wrapped filming Mean Girls 2 in Atlanta last month and is prepping for the last season of Wizards of Waverly Place was super cute in dark denim and bowler hat.

Ashley Tisdale looked fabulous promoting her new TV show Hellcats at the CBS/CW Press Tour at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday. Hellcats, the competitive cheerleading drama costarring Aly Michalka, will premiere on Wednesday September 8th.

Madame Tussaud’s in Hollywood hosted a big bash for the great under-25-volunteer organization DoSomething.org. The ‘Power of Youth’ event was attended by tons of teen celebs: JoJo, Corbin Bleu, Debby Ryan, Abigail Breslin, Ashley Greene, Maggie Grace, Christian Serratos, Victoria Justice, Jake T. Austin, Shenae Grimes, Lucas Till, Chelsey Staub, Shailene Woodley, Drake Bell and Josh Hutcherson. The stars were out on the red carpet Saturday night.
