Vanessa Hudgens, Brenda Song, Abigail Breslin, Sofia Vassileva and David Archuleta all came to Sony Pictures Studios Friday afternoon (September 10th) to man the phones and help in any way they could. Former High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens is just one of many young celebrities to give their face to a new PSA for Stand Up 2 Cancer – watch promo video HERE. In the video above, you can see some exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, plus a special message from Vanessa. The 21 year-old tells us to take care of our bodies, eat healthy and be positive.

Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, Logan Lerman, Dakota Fanning, and Sofia Vassilieva, are all featured in the new PSA from SU2C – Stand Up To Cancer “Change The Odds.” The organization wants you to know what the odds are that you or someone you love will be affected by the devastating disease in your lifetime.

“It is important for young people to be aware of the scope of the problem and the odds that they may face, both for their own future and for their loved ones,” said [Laura] Ziskin, co-founder and executive producer of the Stand Up To Cancer telecast. “This piece is about how it is never too soon to take a stand against these devastating and epidemic diseases. Theirs may be the generation that gets us to the finish line. We are so grateful to all the young stars and to Marc Webb and Rich Lee for joining our cause so brilliantly.”

Kristen Bell, Zachary Levi, Andrew Garfield, Naya Rivera and William Moseley (and lots more) are also participating in the informative video.

A commercial free telethon will be broadcast on September 11th on Fox, CBS, ABC, NBC, VH1, StyleNetwork, HBO, Discovery Health, G4 and many more channels. Using monies raised to get better treatments for cancer patients, research to fight the disease and to spread the word about what you can do now to help prevent getting it (stop smoking, use sunscreen.)
