Taylor Momsen Gives ‘Gossip Girl’ Grief And They Suspend Her
Written by Violet on November 23, 2010 – 9:29 am -Gossip Girl’s Jenny Humphrey is taking a long leave starting in December. Taylor Momsen’s character will appear in the November 29th episode “Gaslit” and she won’t be see again for a long while as executives for the TV show are suspending Momsen.
Besides her barely-there wardrobe and expletive-laced tirades against peers such as Miley Cyrus, Momsen pissed off Project Runway‘s Tim Gunn who played mentor to ‘Jenny” in an episode that aired last month. Gunn blasted Momsen for her lack of professionalism on the set. “What a diva,” he told E! News. “She was pathetic, she couldn’t remember her lines, and she didn’t even have that many. I thought to myself, ‘Why are we being held hostage by this brat?’”
The official word is that Taylor will not be utilized (she has not been fired) for creative/storyline reasons not because she is giving everyone headaches behind the scenes. The truth is Momsen has been focused on her music with The Pretty Reckless and does not seem that interested in being an actress at all, anywhere. Whether she is a pain in the backside to producers or not – this could be the best thing for both Momsen and Ggirl.
What do you think?
Should Jenny be written off entirely? Do you think Momsen’s Little J should be recast with another actress?

Robert Pattinson: ‘New Moon’ Storyline Is Not Just For Girls
Written by Violet on December 4, 2009 – 10:09 pm -The Twilight Saga’s second film, New Moon, has been promoted as having more action and fighting than the first, giving it more appeal to guys. Actor Robert Pattinson feels it shouldn’t matter – a good storyline is something that both sexes should find watchable.
“I keep being told by people that I need to pump up all the stuff about the action and all this stuff for the guys to go and see it,” Pattinson says. “It’s ridiculous. It’s like saying guys can’t appreciate romance. I don’t think that you can say that about GONE WITH THE WIND or something. I’ve watched TITANIC and I didn’t think, ‘Oh, this is a girl’s film.’ Unless you’re a complete idiot of a guy, I don’t really think … and especially in NEW MOON and in the whole series I’ve never played it as if I’m playing a series of girl’s films, doing something just for girls.”
For the guys out there who have seen NM – what did you think? Did you go because you wanted to check it out?
Playing one of the most popular romantic leads in a movie, Pattinson is giving less interviews and being a bit more careful with what he says. This two part interview appears to be a compilation of quotes. Check it out here.
