Justin Bieber’s ‘Wetten Dass’ Appearance Cancelled

Written by Violet on December 5, 2010 – 1:11 pm -

Justin Bieber will not appear on the German TV show Wetten Dass…? as previously scheduled. Bieber was booked to perform but the teen music superstar decided to cancel out of respect for the man seriously injured on the popular show during a stunt gone wrong. Justin announced his decision on twitter:

“Just want to let my people in Germany know I won’t be on Wetten Dass tonight as an accident has taken place and …we all don’t think it is right to continue. Please pray for Samuel Koch & his family as we wait and hope for his health and safety.”

Bieber and the world were horrified to watch contestant Samuel Koch attempt to jump over a moving car. The young man landed face first on the stage floor and did not move, clearly unconscious. Koch is said to be out of critical condition but has a long road ahead to heal.

I think it was a good call on Justin’s part.

‘Harry Potter’ Set Destroyed By Fire

Written by Violet on March 21, 2010 – 9:28 pm -

Filming on the final installment of the Harry Potter franchise came to a screeching halt as fire ripped through the set of the seventh film at the Leavesden Studio in Herfordshire, England.

A source tells the publication, “We were shooting the scenes where Hogwarts gets blown up in battle. But fire managed to catch hold of the set and it went up in flames. It was completely out of control at one point.

“The special effects guys involved are devastated. There’s always a risk when there’s shooting involving fire and explosives but this shouldn’t happen.”

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint were not filming scenes for Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows at the time and their are no other injuries reported at this time.

Miranda Cosgrove & Victoria Justice: iFight Shelby Marx Preview

Written by Violet on August 1, 2009 – 5:08 pm -

iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove is happy with her life the way it is – no crazy paparazzi train following her every move.

“I don’t think I’d want to be constantly followed by paparazzi,” 16-year-old Cosgrove told the Daily News. “All of my friends are from elementary school – they’re not in the business at all – so I’m usually just hanging out with them. I don’t do anything too crazy.”

The Nickelodeon show is a huge hit and has a special coming up Saturday August 8th – iFight Shelby Marx with Victoria Justice guest starring. Cosgrove and Justice had a stunt coordinator who taught both teens boxing and some martial arts.

“We’d practice on mats, and we did this one thing where she took me down and I tried to scurry away but she grabbed my leg and pulled me back,” Cosgrove said. “It was totally crazy and really fun. One of the takes, I just ran in circles with [Victoria] chasing me around.”

Sounds like it will be a fun episode. How can you not love Miranda and Victoria?
