Australian magazine Girlfriend nabbed Leighton Meester for the cover of the August 2010 edition.  For the issue, Meester gave the mag some of her personal philosophies on how to be your happiest:

Be Natural: “I never wear make-up when I’m not at work. It can make you forget what you look like, and I’ve grown to really love the way I look without it.”

Have Priorities: “I’ve never been crazy. I’m a very good girl, to be honest. I don’t do anything to hurt anyone. Honestly, all I ever do is work. ”

Resist the Pressure: “I am this way and that’s it. I’ve never been under pressure to lose weight – if I want to eat chocolate, I will.”

She’s certainly right about her work ethic. The actress, who just wrapped filming the movie Monte Carlo with Selena Gomez and Cory Monteith, is currently working in New York on the new season of her hit TV show Gossip Girl. She has a ton of big screen projects for release next year, including The Roommate with Cam Gigandet (my personal fave ex-vampire) and The Oranges with Hugh Laurie.

The amazing Emma Watson is on the cover of Australia’s Dolly magazine for August 2010. The Harry Potter actress article is unfortunately, just rehashed existing interviews (go here to see the scans.)

Emma seems to have settled in nicely to her studies at Brown University and is keeping a low profile other than an event here or there. Good for her. She appears to have carved out a normal slice of student life for herself which is what she wanted.

August is Dakota Fanning magazine cover month and I couldn’t be happier. Canadian fashion mag Flare adds the fabulous Fanning to the front page and the Twilight: Eclipse actress looks fantastic. The beautiful Dakota will also cover Marie Claire for it’s August issue. (Catch a short peek at the photo shoot here.)

Marie Claire is putting The Twilight Saga: Eclipse teen star Dakota Fanning on the cover of it’s August issue. The magazine released this very brief behind the scenes peek of the photo shoot.

Fanning (who plays evil Jane of the Volturri vampire coven,) and her MC cover, is on newsstands July 13th.

I can’t wait to see the photos. Fanning is great!

Pixie Lott performed at the T4 On The Beach in Somerset, England on July 4th. The “Turn It Up” singer was a great sport as she was jokingly asked about her past (possible) romances/crushes and who she’d choose for the rest of her life.

Dutch weekly magazine Hitkrant has the lovely Taylor Swift gracing it’s cover in super sunny yellow for summer.

Swift looks radiant as always.

Rihanna rocks the August cover of Seventeen magazine! The Rated R singer talks about personal style:

“Don’t be afraid to be yourself just because you’re not like everybody else in class. If you want to dye your hair green and that’s what makes you happy, then dye your hair green — no matter what other people might say about it. Not everybody is going to like you — that’s the world we live in; that’s reality,”
