The 15 year-old Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen is the new cover girl for Page Six Magazine and talks about fashion and how wrong the media are about her personality. She is not a party girl as she likes to stay at home.

Here are some highlights from Taylor Momsen’s Page Six interview:

On protecting her image: “I don’t leave the house without thinking of how to represent myself. But I’m not a little kid playing dress up. It’s all very real.”

On her fave fashion designers: “I love Alexander Wang! Oh, and I love Balmain and this new indie designer named Gary Graham. I discovered him; he’s so edgy and different. I like the high-end people—YSL, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana.”

On her reputation as acting a little too grown-up with her Gossip Girl costars: “It’s like, yeah, I’m really going to go to a party with my cast and crew and all the executives at the network and dance on tables. [Tabloids] all want to make me out as this party girl, and I’m not. I’m underage! All I do is sit at home and play guitar. That’s seriously what I do. I’m a Leo. I’ve always been independent, and this is the lifestyle I have grown up with since I was 3.”

Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen covers the latest issue of CosmoGirl Prom Edition. On interview Taylor shares her prom experiences, encourages us to have fun and gives us tips on what type of shoes to wear LOL!! Hey guys, is Taylor really dating co-star Chace Crawford or what??

On her prom experience: “Most of my friends were seniors and they were like, ‘You sit at our table every day, so you have to come to our prom.’ It’s fun to say our prom was on Friday the 13th. I’ll never forget the date!”

On the perfect pair of shoes to dance in: “Everyone else took off their shoes as soon as they got there, but I kept my feet clean. I never get into the vanity of that type of thing. It’s with my friends. If I’m uncomfortable, then I’m not even in my own skin. You can look good and still be comfortable.” (She donned white Vans sneakers.)

On her advice: “Go [to prom]! I don’t live a traditional life, so I’m glad I went. It’s an important life stepping stone that everyone should experience.”
