Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen, the leader of the “rock” band The Pretty Reckless, dares to go unplugged with Ben Phillips‘ help on the guitar to sing her latest single “Miss Nothing” (see video above).

WOW! I must admit I’m kind of impressed… Taylor doesn’t sound so bad after all. The girl has a lot of potential to become a real rock star, if she would just drop the stripper clothes. Seriously. That is not rock’n’roll, that is cheap and tasteless.

Actress/singer Taylor Momsen and her so-called rock band, The Pretty Reckless, performed “Miss Nothing”, the second single out of their controversial debut album “Light Me Up”, on This Morning Friday (August 20)- see video above.

The 17 year-old is trying way too hard to be a rock star, but the hooker style and heavy makeup seriously make her look ridiculous. I don’t remember a good female rock star wearing lingerie and stripper high heels… unless Taylor really wants to be the new Courtney Love! That is a very unfortunate idea.
