Earlier this week, country music super star, Taylor Swift, reached out to pay tribute to one of her biggest fans, Sgt. Wade Wilson, who was killed in Afghanistan on May 11th.

Swift heard about Wilson’s death when one of his fellow soldiers, Cpl. Josh Marreel, posted a message to her on YouTube,

This is a shout out to the one and only Taylor Swift.  I know you have no idea who I am but this video isn’t about me. This is about a good buddy, Sgt. Wade D. Wilson, who was killed in action Friday, May 11, 2012 in Afghanistan… Anybody that knew Willy personally knew that he worshiped you. He even slept with a poster of you in between our beds in Afghanistan.

The 22-year-old singer responded in style – sending flowers and a handwritten note to Sgt. Wilson’s family, which read,

Wade, thank you for loving my music. I won’t forget it and I will never forget you. All my love, Taylor Swift.

Swift even followed up the flowers by calling the Wilsons to ask their permission to don their son’s dog tags in her next music video.

Talk about a class act!

Taylor Swift pulled out all the stops for bestie Dianna Agron’s birthday bash over the weekend.  And wouldn’t you?  There was a major chance that Mark Salling was going to be there!  He’s no Harry Styles, but still!

The 22-year-old country superstar traded in her cowgirl boots for a tiger-print jumpsuit and whiskers for the Glee star’s circus-themed soiree and somehow looked even cuter than her feline BFF Meredith!

Tsweezy tweeted the above pic of her and her gal pals enjoying some fun under the big top, along with the caption,

The most magical night at Dianna Agron’s circus themed birthday party!

No word yet as to whether Lea Michele showed up dressed as a ringmaster, but we’ll keep you posted

Talk about being the envy of every teenaged boy in America – heck, the world!

Pop star Justin Bieber has somehow finagled his way into the hearts of not one, but two of the hottest babes in Hollywood!  The 18-year-old’s been dating “Hit the Lights” singer Selena Gomez for years, but has now begun a relationship with country superstar Taylor Swift.

Okay, okay – maybe it’s a “professional relationship”, but still!

The pair have been logging long hours in the studio together recording a duet together for The Bieb’s latest album “Believe” (due out on stores June 19th!  WooHoo!) and, here’s the real shocker, Bieb’s beau couldn’t be happier about it!

In an interview with E! Online, the 19-year-old said of the new song,

It’s beautiful… I don’t know if it’s going to make it on the record, but it is beautiful.

Don’t know if it’s gonna “make it on the record”?  Ooooh, was that a little dig there Selena?  C’mon girl – you’re better than that

In the studio!  Jeez guys, c’mon – get your heads out of the gutter!

Pop superstar Justin Bieber and country music sweetheart Taylor Swift are teaming up to produce what is bound to be the greatest selling record of all time.  This is like the bubblegum pop version of David Bowie cutting a track with The Rolling Stones - oh wait, that happened, and it was terrible…  Just forget it.

In a recent interview with U.K.’s Capital FM, The Biebs revealed that his latest album will be full of collaborations with other artists including, Kanye West, Drake, Usher, Timbaland, Diplo and yes, the reigning princess of country music.

You know, the whole album is just so different, there’s so many different people collaborating… It’s crazy… I mean I even wrote a song with Taylor Swift, so the whole album ranges differently.

Do you think Tay-Tay and Kanye West bumped into each other during this project?  Oh, that would’ve just been too perfect.

These One Direction boys sure do get around…

According to eye-witness reports, country music sweetheart Taylor Swift was all hot and bothered after a brief meeting with Harry Styles of 1D at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards.

Taylor is a huge One Direction fan and was excitedly bopping along to the boys when they performed onstage. Then she was chatting to Justin and told him how hot she found Harry… Taylor went backstage and was hanging around by the group’s dressing room and said a quick ‘hello’ to the guys… She started dramatically fanning herself afterwards making out like she was overwhelmed which got everyone laughing. She really likes Harry but made Justin promise not to go on the record about it.

Sorry Tay-Tay, looks like the cat’s out of the bag!

Although Styles has been linked to singer Lily Halpern, his bandmates didn’t let that stop them from joking about the crush during a recent interview.

22-year-old country music star Taylor Swift is no stranger to walking away a winner from The Academy of Country Music Awards, but one thing she’s not used to is waltzing down the red carpet without a date!

The 2012 Entertainer of the Year award winner had previously extended an invitation to 18-year-old cancer patient Kevin McGuire to attend the ceremony as her “plus one”, but because of complications due to his illness, the high school football start was forced to be admitted to the hospital on Saturday.

Swift took to her Twitter page to express her disappointment over not getting to meet Kevin in Las Vegas,

Just talked to Kevin McGuire. He’s not well enough to join me at the ACMs. Please keep him in your thoughts. I’ll make it up to you, Kevin!

What a bummer!  We hope Kevin gets to meet Taylor sometime soon – maybe a personal trip to his hospital room is in order?  We’re sure seeing the gorgeous country music songstress in a Candy Striper uniform would put a smile on his face!

It’s not big deal but…

During Nickelodeon’s 25th annual Kids Choice Awards this Saturday night, First Lady Michele Obama will honor country music superstar Taylor Swift.

Oh wait, that’s actually a huge deal.  Congrats Tay-Tay!

According to sources, Swift will be presented with The Big Help Award  for her charitable efforts with Habitat for Humanity, the St. Jude Medical Center, the Red Cross and The Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Not a bad little resume if we do say so ourselves!

Hopefully The Big Help Award won’t be the only KCA trophy that T-Sweezy takes home Sunday night – The 22-year-old songstress is also nominated for Best Female Singer and Best Song {“Sparks Fly”).

The Kids’ Choice Awards will air Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET and will be hosted by Will Smith.

Country music sweetheart Taylor Swift and Glee’s Dianna Agron opted for a ladies night when they headed out to catch The Hunger Games in NYC last night.

Are there even any other movies playing right now?

The gals looked adorable in oversized sweaters (totally key for freezing cold movie theaters, are we right?  What is UP with the AC in those places?) and understated makeup – they actually looked like normal, cute New Yorkers!

Although rumors have been circulating over both ladies trying to woo New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow, it doesn’t look like these besties are going to let any man come between them.

Unless of course it’s Peeta Mellark…

The princess of country music stopped by Live! With Kelly earlier today to chat with Kelly Ripa about her Speak Now international tour and the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards.

For the past year, the 22-year-old has been headlining sold-out shows all over the world and meeting fans from London to Hong Kong.  And guys, these are some serious fans.

We’ve been so many different places. It was one of the highlights of my life getting to play the O2 arena in London. But then, going to Singapore and Hong Kong … Norway, Spain, France, Holland, Belgium, all these places I never thought I’d get to go. And Italy, they’re awesome in Italy. In Spain, we were performing, and all these guys are openly weeping … It was so adorable. They’re so passionate. They love music so much.

Now a consummate ACM winner, Swift opened up about what it’s like to be a nominee, waiting for the awards envelop to be opened.

I don’t know who’s going to win any awards. Nobody knows who’s going to win until they say somebody’s name. That’s why, when I’ve won awards in the past, I get up there and [fakes sobs] and it doesn’t make any sense and I black out. Then afterwards, I’m like, ‘What did I say? Was it English?’

Is that why you didn’t tell Kanye to take his seat when he stormed up on stage at the VMAs in 2009?  Because you were blacked out?  It all makes sense now…

Wait, you mean we get two tracks on the Hunger Games soundtrack from country sweetheart Taylor Swift!?!  Be still our hearts.

After releasing her haunting duet with The Civil Wars, ”Safe and Sound” back in December, Swift has  second single “Eyes Open”, is now available for our listening pleasure.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Swift opened up about what it was like to pen a song from the perspective of the movie’s female protagonist, Katniss Everdeen.

Slipping into her mind was such a wonderful break… It’s pretty intense writing about my own life, my own struggles. It was almost like a vacation to get to write from someone else’s perspective.

Hang on.

You expect us to believe that it’s more emotionally draining to write about failed teenaged romances than about being chosen to be the object of a ruthless, human hunting reality show?

Yeah, not buying it.
