Teen Vogue gleeks out for the December 2010 cover with Lea Michele and Cory Monteith of Glee. The break out hit on FOX has everyone talking and as Rachel and Finn, they are often at the center of the plot any given week. The two have grown into close friends off camera as well as you can see by their rapport in the interview. They talk about how they got started in show biz and no matter what, they love their jobs:

How did they start out?:
Cory Monteith: I’ll make it quick. I was 20 years old, working as a roofer and a telemarketer and driving a taxi, just barely getting by. A friend of a friend suggested I try acting. I was like, “Why? What am I going to do? Community theater?” But I took a class, and the teacher thought that I had potential, so I moved to Vancouver and started auditioning. I slept on someone’s floor. I brought, like, two shirts and two pairs of pants.

Lea Michele: I didn’t expect to be an actor either. But I went to an audition, and I got a job. After my first night on stage, I turned to my parents and said, “I love doing this—don’t ever stop me.” But I was very content; I figured that my life’s path was to be a Broadway performer. I only came out to L.A. because, after Spring Awakening—

Cory Monteith: You were in Spring Awakening? Sorry. That’s a joke.

Lea Michele: Whenever we do an autograph signing and someone says, “I loved you in Spring Awakening,” he says, “You were in Spring Awakening?” So anyway—I didn’t think there’d ever be a part that was fitting for someone who looked like me, who acted like me. I was just stepping away from Broadway for a few months, and then Glee came around. And it’s really opened my eyes to this world of film and television and made me realize that maybe there’s a place for me.

Reality star Lauren Conrad, best known for starring on MTV’s “The Hills”, went from an assistant to a cover girl on the upcoming issue of Teen Vogue Magazine (November 2010)- more pictures below.

The 24 year-old author recently released a new book “Sugar and Spice”, the third and final book in the “LA Candy” series, and is currently working on her new clothing line “Paper Crown”.

Here are some highlights from Lauren Conrad’s Teen Vogue interview:

On leaving “The Hills”: “I left right before I went crazy.”

On her new reality show: “It’s not going to revolve around my personal life. Filming the last two shows [The Hills, Laguna Beach], I never had the opportunity to show everything I was working for. This time the focus is going to be on my job, and while that’s still personal to me, I will also have a part of my life that can be mine.”

On her new clothing line “Paper Crown”: “It’s the idea of creating your own glamour. The focus will be on really great fits, fabrics, and details. It won’t be overly trendy—nothing that’s trying too hard. I’m very excited about it, but I’m also a little nervous. I’m doing it all on my own this time.”

The 8th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles had Victoria Justice in attendance for the celebration.

Justice was recently in New York City for the United Nations Foundation launch of Girl Up at a Pep Rally in the Big Apple.

The gals of Twilight took the red carpet of the 8th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles and were chic and glamorous for the event.

Nikki Reed wore a flowing metallic gold dress by Michael Kors and her Breaking Dawn costar, Christian Serratos, stepped out in a shimmering silver shift mini.

Aimee Teegarden came out to the 8th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party in Los Angeles at Paramount Studios. The Friday Night Lights actress was beautiful as always for the celebration.

Teegarden was cast in Scream 4, along with Emma Roberts (see Emma’s Teen Vogue Party photos here) and is working on Disney’s new movie Prom with Nicholas Braun.

AJ Michalka cranked up the heat in Los Angeles at Paramount Studios for the 8th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party. The Secretariat actress was sexy and sultry in her black leather dress and heels.

AJ is set to star in the new J.J. Abrams thriller Super 8 with Dakota Fanning and says she and her sister (and her partner in music as 78violet) Aly have recorded a song The Longhair, for episode 6 of Aly’s hit TV show Hellcats - see her interview here.

Emma Roberts has the serious Hollywood acting pedigree (dad is Eric Roberts and of course, her Aunt Julia,) and she definitely looked the part at the 8th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. The daringly draped neckline and asymmetrical length of sleeves and the perfect shade of deep lilac was a winning combination for Emma.

Roberts has so much work coming out in the next few months it’s amazing: Twelve with Chace Crawford was out in August, It’s Kind Of A Funny Story opens October 8th and Scream 4 will be released April 2011. The Winning Season is out on DVD November 23rd.

The 8th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party brought out Kendall Jenner for the celebration. She looked very sweet in her bright turquoise skirt and white top with black ribbon bow.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians sister is set to walk the runway with younger sister Kylie, at LA’s Fashion Week on October 17th for White Trash Beautiful’s show. White Trash Beautiful is the clothing line started by Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora and designer Nikki Lund. Sambora’s daughter Ava, made her catwalk debut for the fashion house this past spring.

Stepping out Friday night to the 8th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party in Los Angeles was actress Nicola Peltz.

I think the young actress should be cast as a vampire in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – she is the on-screen sister to two Twilight stars:  Jackson Rathbone in The Last Airbender and she will have Robert Pattinson as a brother soon in the independent western, Unbound Captives.

Hayley Kiyoko and Blake Michael arrived at the 8th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party Friday night at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. Both have landed lead roles in the highly anticipated Disney movie of the awesome teen book, Lemonade Mouth. Blake will play Charlie and Hayley is Stella.
