Vanessa Hudgens & Hayden Panettiere: Neutrogena Wave For Change
Written by Violet on July 18, 2010 – 10:26 pm -A new charitable campaign is underway from Neutrogena. Brand ambassadors Vanessa Hudgens and Hayden Panettiere helped announce the initiative by the cosmetics giant to give away up to $200,000 to various charities and teens can help decide who gets the money. By purchasing the Wave Sonic Power-Cleaner and Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit product, those proceeds will be used by GlobalGiving for disaster relief, education and environmental causes.
“Often people want to participate, but they don’t know how so the fact Neutrogena is opening the door and kids are getting to be a part of something and help the world is an amazing thing to be a part of,” says Panettiere.
Between now and August 23rd, go to Neutrogena’s Facebook page and take the quiz to determine where you want Neutrogena to give that green.

Teen Vogue Duo: Joe Jonas & Demi Lovato
Written by Violet on June 30, 2010 – 6:55 am -Disney darlings Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato are no longer dating (so many Jemi shippers are so sad…) but while they were together, the duo worked together for this Teen Vogue cover shoot. At the time, they spoke freely about their budding relationship and Teen Vogue caught up with them more recently to ask the two about the break-up:
Whose idea was it to take the next step?
Joe: Mine.
Demi: I had always fancied him. Want to know what actually happened? One night I asked him, ‘What is the deal? We’re perfect for each other. What are you doing?’ And he was like, ‘This is really awkward. I have to go.’
Joe: I needed time to think.
Demi: And I thought, Great, I just ruined a friendship. But the next day, he came knocking at my door. Joe: Once she confronted me, I kind of confronted myself. Was it hard to see each other with other people?
Demi, ‘Every girlfriend he had, I always wanted to have a friendship with, because I felt like if she was worthy enough to be with him, then she must be great. It sucked, watching, but I was always happy for him.’
Joe: It wasn’t easy.
Demi: Sometimes it was like, ‘So my boyfriend is so awesome.’ ‘Well, my girlfriend is really great.’ ‘Good for you!’ [laughs]
Joe wanted the breakup.
Joe “It could have been better timing, but there’s never really a good time for something like that. I really care about her.”
Demi: We haven’t spent any time together since everything, because that would be awkward, but I’m sure things will go totally back to normal once we’re on tour together. It’s just that at this point I’d rather be hanging out with my girlfriends than seeing my ex.
Joe: In this business, it’s really hard to find people who are going to be there for the rest of your life. When I met Demi, I knew right away that our friendship was really strong. I don’t want to lose that ever.

Robert Pattinson Seventeen Magazine Argentina Cover
Written by Violet on June 1, 2010 – 9:01 pm -Robert Pattinson makes the cover of Argentina’s Seventeen magazine, just in time for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse promotional blitz. Here is a bit of the translated interview:
On working with Kristen Stewart: “Kristen’s always been great, I mean, in a professional way. I think we have very similar attitudes when it comes to work. What I mean is the way we approach acting and how we look at the scripts and everything around a film, you know, both of us take things very seriously. It all depends on how far you want to go, to have a pretty great work relationship.”
One extreme crazy fan moment: “Probably one of the most extreme experiences is when I visited Mexico City during Twilight. We were trying to leave a movie theater where they were showing the first of the films in the saga. There were hundreds of girls outside, and one of them opened the door to our car. We couldn’t close it, and the driver just took off without closing the door. It the end it turned out to be funny, but a bit extreme.”
Helping out when Haiti needed it most: “It was amazing. When you become famous, you spend a lot of time thinking what that’s all about, or what to do with all that attention on you. When you discover that you can use fame to do good things, it’s amazing. I hope that what I did helped, and that it really made a difference for the people of Haiti.”
Musical future, perhaps? “I think recording an album. I would love to make that dream come true. I’m always writing songs, but I never give music enough time, much less to start working on an album.”
Check out the scans and the rest of the translated interview here.

Justin Bieber Interview With JBSource Teens
Written by Violet on April 30, 2010 – 9:46 pm -
Ash & Johanna, who run the twitter site @JBSource caught a lucky break and got the opportunity to interview Justin Bieber while he was in Australia! This is what they had to say:
“Ash and I (Johanna) were lucky enough to get some time with Justin while he was down in Sydney last Monday (the 26th of April 2010)!
I’m on first (white-ish top), and Ash after me (pink top).
![]()
And, apparently, it was the first time he’d ever done something like this! We’re so grateful
![]()
OH. We only had one night to prepare. We didn’t even know it was definitely happening until a few hours before. Chill out!
I talk real quick. It wasn’t because I was nervous. It’s just how I am. Sorry if you can’t understand it!
Ash was really nervous too.
We’re just teenagers. Give us a break! ahhahahaThis version is only temporary while we work on getting our high-def version up. We’ve had some technical difficulties with it, so it’s taking a while. If needed, we’ll even put subtitles on that one for you all.

@JohannaSaidSo
@WeLove_JBieberEDIT: It skips like half a second towards the beginning of the video. I don’t know why, but it does. It must have happened during the upload. :/”
They are so cute. How awesome of Justin to take time out to do that! Bieberfever is catchy!
