Gossip Teen

Now that the second season of Gossip Girl  is finishing filming, Taylor Momsen is focused on her band, The Reckless. The actress/singer/songwriter is now turning her attention to designing the band’s wardrobe looks for their upcoming tour.

Momsen said “I’m actually designing all of my costumes. It’s a rock band, so there’s not costume changes but there’s definitely a look.”

She will team up with fashion designer Jenny Koh to come up with a concept that represents her and her bandmates style, but for now it will only be for them. Momsen does not see herself putting out a clothing line.

Her own style is edgy, downtown NY, with a little bit of Courtney-Love-indie-punk thrown in. She wears it well. Here she is talking with Teen Vogue about her band’s music.

The set of Gossip Girl is a great place to hook up unless your Taylor Momsen. The actress told OK Magazine that she is not dating her co-star Chace Crawford.

“No,” she says when OK! asked recently during NYC Fashion Week if she’s dating Chace. “It’s great, because going to set we’re all such good friends. And you know, rumors are rumors.”

Momsen is going to concentrate on her music with her band The Reckless and release an album later this year. I really enjoy watching Taylor and can’t wait to hear her music.

Meanwhile, Chace will have to look elsewhere (Leighton Meester maybe?) if he wants to continue the GG hook-up streak created by couples Blake Lively and Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr.
