As if we needed another reason to bow down at the feet of comedic genius Ellen DeGeneres, the daytime talk show host has come up with a hilarious video poking fun at the rerelease of Titanic.

In the spoof, DeGeneres shines a light on one of the film’s many updates, when she joins Leonardo DiCaprio as he paints a very nude Kate Winslet in one of the film’s most poignant moments.

Part of us wishes the 54-year-old would’ve actually made it into the original scene.  It sure would’ve made watching the movie with our parents waaay less awkward!

Whether the rerelease of Titanic has you feeling giddy as a 7th grader again or makes you feel like leaping off of a seven story-high propeller blade – the 3D version of the James Cameron film is sure to make a splash in theaters next weekend.

Sorry, too soon?

While the $1.8 billion dollar grossing film certainly made her a household name around the world, actress Kate Winslet says that there are a few aspects of the movie that make her want to “throw up”.

I wish I could say, ‘Oh listen, everybody! It’s the Celine Dion song!’ But I don’t… I just have to sit there, you know, kind of straight-faced with a massive internal eye roll.

Listen Kate, you may hate that song, but for all of us girls out here that didn’t get to make out with Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio) before his body sank deep down into the abyss of the Atlantic Ocean – that song made scribbling our initials on spiral bound notebooks a little less pathetic.
