Sexy Zac Efron smolders on the cover of the September Details magazine. The Charlie St. Cloud hunk has a number of movie roles coming up with his newly formed production company, Ninja’s Runnin Wild, but for now the 22 year old is talking dating, poison oak rashes and motorcycling with Tom Cruise:

On not dating around Hollywood: “I think a lot of guys would enjoy that. But I’m not really like that. Believe me, I rack my brain thinking ‘Why am I not out there playing the field?’ One of my buddies was like, ‘You have no idea what’s going on right now. You’re peaking on Ecstasy and you’re watching TV.’ But it’s not in my heart. It’s exactly how it should be. It’s real.”

On learning to ride from Tom Cruise: “I don’t even want to know [why he offered to teach me]. It’s just so cool that he gave a sh*t, the fact that he cared at all. No one else did that.”

On contracting poison oak right before his interview: “Dude, it’s like everywhere. Everywhere. I can’t even begin to show you, ‘cause you’ll get so grossed out. I look like
a zombie from Dawn of the Dead.”

Taylor Lautner is potentially the hottest young actor to come out of The Twilight Saga franchise. As much as everyone now talks about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart when it comes to movie projects, Lautner is securing one heck of a commercial future for himself. With starring roles in Cancun, the Max Steel and Stretch Armstrong action hero adaptations, and Northern Lights, (not costarring Tom Cruise however) the actor who just turned 18 is attached to star in Abduction (a Jason Bourne identity in question kind of role) and that pic is up for a bidding war between at least two studios. The big question remains, Lautner is unproven beyond Twilight for bringing an audience to the theater. Will these movies even get made? Is this all just hype for the actor?

Here is Taylor Lautner winning Breakout Movie Actor at The People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles. Former girlfriend, Taylor Swift and her mom stood up and applauded Lautner as he took the stage to get his trophy.

Lautner is on a roll lately, not just with Twilight, but he has signed on for movies Max Steel, Cancun (maybe) with Taylor Swift and Northern Lights with Tom Cruise.

Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner will become the highest-paid teenage actor in Hollywood as soon as he gets his $7.5 million paycheck for the movie “Northern Lights” with Tom Cruise. The movie tells the story of “a gifted young aerobatics pilot who faces off with his controlling billionaire father and falls in love with a gifted female pilot.”

Taylor was also offered other important roles in the action flick “Max Steel” and smaller movie “Cancun”. Taylor will be the highest paid teen star of the moment but it’s still not enough to suppress the all-time records set by Daniel Radcliffe ($11 million for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in 2005 when he was 16) and Macauley Culkin ($8 million for 1994′s Richie Rich when he was 14).

The ‘Red Dawn’ reboot is in full swing with a major new cast member on board, Connor Cruise. The son of actors Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, the 14 year old is taking a page out of the family business and becoming a working actor.

Cruise will play Daryl, the mayor of Spokane, and best friend of tech geek Robert.

The 1984 action movie is about a group of teenagers who form an insurgency when their town is invaded, this time by the Russians and the Chinese.

The cast of this movie is getting more interesting everyday. Josh Peck from Drake & Josh and Chris Hemsworth from Star Trek are also on board.

Slumdog Millionaire is on everyone’s mind right now as we head into Awards season and the unknown London teenager who is the star, Dev Patel, is anonymous no longer. Patel is still reeling from his nomination at the Golden Globes one week ago and he is awestruck over the celebrities who want to meet him.

Patel says, “It’s been like a whirlwind. I was taken straight from the airport in my jeans to a posh tea party. I was still holding my passport when I got introduced to Clint Eastwood. I was embarrassed because I felt a bit smelly! When we got to the Golden Globes it was completely full-on. Demi Moore came up to me on the red carpet. Then Drew Barrymore took me to one side for a 10-minute chat.”

“Later, Alec Baldwin said some amazing things. Sting came over and said he loved the film and gave me a lovely hug. Tom Cruise and Leonardo DiCaprio shook my hand. Even P Diddy recognized me! How mental is that! I’m just some lad from Harrow (in London)!”

Great for Patel! That’s an amazing ride he’s on. Enjoy it.
