Miley Cyrus‘ number of tattoos has grown to seven.

The 18 year-old singer’s latest is a simple equal (=) sign on her ring finger in support of gay rights.

When Cyrus posted a photo on her twitter on Friday, she also told fans where she stood on the issue.

“All LOVE is equal’” she said with the accompanying picture.

Not everyone agreed with Miley and since it’s twitter, everyone had a chance to tell her what they thought. But Cyrus held her ground on the matter and even replied to one fan who tweeted her a bible passage.

“where does it say in the bible to judge others? Oh right. It doesn’t. GOD is the only judge honey. “GOD is love,” the singer responded.

Things got so heated, the Last Song actress had to ask others to back off the fan who opposed Miley’s view after users of the social network sent her fan some vile and violent tweets.

“Dude everyone lay off @MileyCyrusLuver Love u! Everyone is entitled 2 opinions! ‘if u don’t stand 4 something you’ll fall for anything.’ ”

People, you can agree of disagree with either of them – but why turn everything into a series of death threats? That’s just as ignorant.

While this probably wasn’t everything he got from his older sister for his birthday, this is a pretty cute gift.

Taylor Swift was able to give Austin Swift a great big smile on his face when she surprised him with something a little unusual for his recent birthday: Lederhosen.

Taylor posted the pic on twitter of her and her 19 year-old brother carrying a tankard and wearing the traditional German clothing – lederhosen and tunic – while she looks on with a straight face.

“I finally got to see my brother and give him his birthday present– this outfit I bought in Germany,” the singer said with the accompanying photo.

Taylor, 21, is wearing a milkmaid/farmer’s daughter kind of dress (what no dirndl for you Taylor?)

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato got together over the weekend to have a simple girls night out for the two long-time friends.

The two Disney stars allegedly drifted apart for a while but everything seems back to good for the teens.

Bot Gomez and Lovato posted the photo on each of their twitter pages and let the world know they support each other and their friendship is still going.

August 29th marked the 5th year anniversary of the devestation Hurricane Katrina brought to the Gulf Coast area and many people still need help.

Actor Kellan Lutz has been passionate about the work of non-profit organization St Bernard Project, which rebuilds homes and has a wellness program for the Gulf community. Lutz was in New Orleans to help and posted the picture of his time with other volunteers on his twitter.
