According to reports, Usher’s stepson Kyle Glover was rushed to the hospital after being involved in an accident while swimming near his home in Atlanta, GA.

Apparently, Kyle was floating in an inner tube on Lake Lanier when he was struck by a jet ski.  The 11-year-old was unresponsive when removed from the water and was rushed to an Atlanta hospital.  He was listed as being in critical condition.

Usher rushed to be by his stepson’s side and even charted a private plane for his estranged wife, Tameka Foster so that she could get to the hospital as quickly as possible.

As of 7:00pm this evening, Kyle was declared brain dead by doctors.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Kyle and his family during this truly difficult time.

Hip Pop music’s most dynamic mentor and mentee (and yes, we DID just make up the term “hip pop”, but doesn’t it fit these two just perfectly!?) Usher and Justin Bieber are the cover boys for this month’s issue Billboard Magazine and we’ve got to hand it to them – they totally deserve it.

As the cover art suggests, The Biebs and Usher are totally at the top of their game – The Bieb’s sophomore album “Believe” is set to drop next month and Usher, well, Usher is the one who has made Bieber Fever possible.

Despite his obvious hand in making Justin a household name, 33-year-old Usher took every opportunity during his interview with Billboard to gush about the incredible talent of his 18-year-old protege.

He’s always been a dope MC… ‘Boyfriend‘ was really the defining moment; it became No. 1 everywhere, which is what dreams are made of. Both of us are being modest about what our journeys have been in terms of songwriting: Justin really has participated in every writing session – that’s amazing… It’s easy to just dial something in, but if you make the music authentic, people feel connected to you as an artist from the beginning.

It’s nice to set major stars sharing the love!

Justin also raved about his relationship with his friend and producer,

[He's been] successful in everything that he’s done. He’s made some mistakes, too, but he’s learned from them, so he can tell me what to do and what not to do.

So, we’re guessing we won’t be seeing Justin’s boxer’s hanging out on stage any time soon…

Pop superstars Justin Bieber and Usher teamed up this morning to ring in the holiday season by performing The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on a Open Fire) on NBC’s The Today Show.

The mentor and mentee performed in front of a huge crowd in Rockefeller Plaza,  many of whom waited, all night long, in the freezing cold, just to see the dynamic duo in action.

Both Justin and Usher looked fresh in their Christmassy getups (WHERE can I get the sweater Justin was rocking!? ) and successfully made my Black Friday  just a little bit brighter.  ;)

And no, she definitely wasn’t a fan.

According to reports, famed hip hop artist/producer Usher was accosted by a belligerent woman yesterday, after he parked his SUV in a handicapped parking space.  Apparently, the woman ran up to the 33-year-old artist when he arrived at the Little 5 Points Halloween Parade and asked him to move his vehicle – when U refused, she began, “screaming, flailing her arms, and grabbing Usher’s hoodie,” and at one point, she even screamed, “You don’t belong here!”

Not really sure what she meant by that, but if all this was just to get a rise out of an A-lister – she succeeded.

P.S. Who parks in a handicapped parking space if they’re not handicapped?  Who are you, George Costanza?

The woman was eventually dragged away from the scene and so far, there’s been no comment from Usher’s camp regarding the incident.

Justin Bieber had a fantastic night at the 2010 American Music Awards on Sunday, November 21st. The teen star took home four awards for the evening and even set a record.

Winning in the categories of Pop/Rock Music for both Favorite Artist, Male and Favorite Album My World 2.0, he also landed trophies for T-Mobile’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year.

Bieber made history at the AMA’s when he won Artist of the Year – he is the youngest performer ever to have won that category in the history of the ceremonies. JB was so grateful, during his acceptance speech, he called his mentor, Usher to the stage to say thanks for giving him the opportunity of a lifetime.

Justin Bieber and his mentor Usher shot a music video for the teen superstar’s new remix single, “Somebody To Love (Remix)”, which premiered during “So You Think You Can Dance” on Thursday (June 17)- watch video below.

Justin and Usher dance it off, but who is the better dancer? They showed some incredible dance moves and lots of swing. This is probably the best Bieber music video of all time… at least until the next one!
