The Twilight Saga: Eclipse stars Kellan Lutz and Xavier Samuel are featured in the May issue of VMan magazine. The super good-looking duo had this to say:

Kellan on his enthusiasm for action scenes: “I like getting hurt. I don’t have tattoos, so my bruises and scars are my tattoos.”

Kellan on following in Mark Wahlberg’s CK footsteps: “I can only pray I have half the opportunities he’s had. Those are hard boxer briefs to fill.”

Kellan on his CK underwear billboard on Sunset Boulevard in LA: “It’s kind of weird to drive by.”

Xavier on being not-so-new to the acting scene: “It’s often the case that breaking actors have been breaking out for years.”

Xavier on missing his native Australia: “I want to get back to Australia and do a film there. It’s important to remember your roots.”

New pictures are surfacing of Kristen Stewart and her co-star Billy Burke (who plays her dad, Chief Swan) as they film the graduation scene in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. This is the pivotal point in the books where Bella (Stewart) figures out that Victoria (now played by Bryce Dallas Howard) is the one behind the newborn vampire army and is aiming for her. In the book, Edward and Alice Cullen (Robert Pattinson and Ashley Greene) are also part of the ceremonies. As of yet no photos of Pattinson or Greene working this scene. I hope we get to see a shot or two of Edward (Robert) in the back of Chief Swan’s squad car – funny!

Kristen is back with her Bella-length hair. The actress needed extentions after she cut her hair for her film The Runaways (with Dakota Fanning) where she portrayed Joan Jett. I kinda miss her mullet-y ‘do. It really did look good on her.

We have more ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ casting news to bring you: Along with Jodelle Ferland as (possibly) Bree, Bryce Dallas Howard as the new Victoria and Xavier Samuel as Riley, Royce and Maria have been announced as the filming begins at the end of August in Vancouver.

Jack Huston will play Royce King II, Rosalie’s (Nikki Reed) dastardly fiance and Catalina Sandino Morena will be Maria, the vampire who creates an army of newborns and turns Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) into a soldier for her clan’s dominance.

‘Twilight’ stars Peter Facinelli and Jackson Rathbone were in Dallas over the weekend at the superfan convention known as ‘TwiCon.’ MTV got both ‘New Moon’ actors to respond to the controversy surrounding the Rachelle Lefevre replacement as vampire Victoria in the supernatural movies. Clearly the two actors want to keep their jobs (Hello Summit!) and try to say as little as possible that might get the execs upset again. Bryce Dallas Howard may be the new baddie for ‘Eclipse’ but obviously the actors will miss Lefevre.

Surprising news today as Summit Entertainment announced it will replace Rachelle Lefevre as the meanie Victoria in the third film ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse.’ In comes Bryce Dallas Howard as the newest redhead to menace damsel in distress Bella, played by Kristen Stewart. Adding fuel to the gossip fire is the reason Summit has publicly announced – conflict of schedules. Lefevre is stunned by that response and had this to say:

“I am hurt deeply by Summit’s surprising decision to move on without me,” she says.

Summit said the actress was leaving because of a scheduling conflict with her upcoming film Barney’s Version, which begins filming the same day as Eclipse.

But Lefevre says her commitment to the indie film was only less than two weeks. “Given the length of filming for Eclipse, never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10 day overlap.”

No contract disputes that anyone is owning up to, this makes this recasting of the role very suspect. I find it hard to believe that Lefevre and Summit couldn’t have worked this out – I believe Jackson Rathbone was working on ‘The Last Airbender’ with M. Night Shyamalan while ‘New Moon’ filmed.

Now, note the connection – six degrees of Hollywood – Rachelle Lefevre stars with Jackson Rathbone (in ‘Twilight’ and ‘New Moon’) who worked with M. Night Shyamalan in ‘The Last Airbender’ who directed Bryce Dallas Howard in ‘The Village’ who replaces Lefevre in ‘Eclipse.’

Taylor Lautner - good thing you got muscular quick – Summit appears to have no problem with continuity of actors between films. Robert Pattinson will have another actress to snarl at when ‘Eclipse’ starts filming in August.

Austrailian hottie Xavier Samuel may not be a household name now, but in August when ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ begins filming in Vancouver, everyone will know the 24 year old actor. The first addition to the cast to be announced, Samuel will play Riley, the young vampire created by Victoria to hunt Bella down. Samuel will have some pivotal scenes in the upcoming movie and will have onscreen time with Rachel LaFevre, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Harry Potter’s Tom Felton had been rumoured to be up for the part for quite some time, but instead, a newcomer to American film has been cast. Director David Slade has a great cast in place to work with. His additions for the parts of Leah and Seth Clearwater should be the next casting announcements that will have everyone talking.
