Zac Efron ‘The Lucky One’ & ‘Die In A Gunfight’ New Projects
Written by Violet on July 28, 2010 – 11:26 am -Author Nicholas Sparks‘ novel The Lucky One is headed to the big screen with Zac Efron as the lead.
Although still in negotiations to join the film, Efron may play the lead of a US Marine who makes it through the war in Iraq thanks to a photo of a girl he’s never met; his lucky charm. When he gets back to the States, he vows to find her (and presumably fall head over heels in love…)
Zac is piling on the projects. Along with TLO, the Charlie St. Cloud actor is itiching to join Die In A Gunfight, as an attorney who falls in love with the daughter of his father’s nemesis.
Check out all the other potential Efron goodness coming soon from his production company Ninja’s Runnin’ Wild by clicking the link here.

Robert Pattinson Parade Magazine Interview
Written by Violet on March 11, 2010 – 12:18 pm -Robert Pattinson is making the press rounds to promote his film with Emilie de Ravin, Remember Me. The actor gave Parade magazine a view into his thoughts on asking a girl out on a date, James Dean comparisons and meaningless celebrity. Here is an excerpt:
Dating good, asking girls out, not so good: “When it comes to the opposite sex, I’m not as fully confident as the guy I play. I don’t even remember the last time I asked someone out on a date, like, just went up to them and that’s the first thing I did. I’m much more self-conscious and not wanting to fail. So I tend to hold back.”
The James Dean influence, also good: “I think he was like the most influential person for young guys, especially actors, in the last 50 years. So yeah, I mean, I’m not ashamed to say I am very much influenced by him.”
Finding balance with work and privacy: “You keep trying to make your name stand for something other than just like meaningless celebrity. It’s a difficult battle, but I think people like Johnny Depp have done that. He’s not judged by his public image, it’s just his acting that counts. To get to that place takes a lot of discipline and a lot of hiding.”
Remember Me opens March 12th. Check out major spoilers here (but you were warned – don’t click if you don’t want to know!)

‘Eclipse’ Soundtrack May Include Robert Pattinson
Written by Violet on October 2, 2009 – 6:08 pm -In the upcoming issue of Mexican Joy Magazine, actor Robert Pattinson spoke openly about his life since landing the role of Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga and his passion for music and a possible song or two for ‘Eclipse.’ He says he’d like to contribute if time allows. We are all waiting to hear more of his music.
The photo and translation of the article is courtesy of TwilightPoison.
Robert is the perfect example of what the media and fame are capable of doing. It’s a huge stroke of luck, brutal and well-aimed that all of a sudden launches you to the highest peak of worldwide attention, away from good and evil. Something very tempting and rare.
“I wasn’t expecting having this much success. It’s something I still can’t understand. The truth is that in certain occasions I feel dizzy and I still don’t know how to handle so much attention” he expresses, in a very shy voice, almost like a whisper, as if he was telling us a secret. His eyes, so clear they’re almost transparent, stare attentively at us and distract us. It’s not easy resisting his charms! His honesty wins us over though, because far from finding a male diva, we discover, little by little a sensitive man. Warm and charming. We don’t hesitate in sharing with him what we really think: luck, yes, it’s fundamental, but if it doesn’t come hand in hand with talent and magic, everything remains just an anecdote. Robert smiles, he likes the idea. For now he knows that in talent he has exceeded expectations but he worries that he might not be up to the hype and the phenomenon that he’s become. It’s clear to us; charisma is authentic. And after this interview, there’s no doubts about it.
Last time we saw you, Twilight was about to be released and you said you didn’t know what to expect of the movie, and that everybody was looking forward to it. After all the success and box office numbers, how do you feel?
It’s very strange. I can say that everything has happened very fast. Like I’m fast-forwarding through life. Like everything around me is happening at 1000 m/p. The way you fast-forward a movie, just like that. I never thought the movie would cause such a stir. Seeing girls screaming around me is so bizarre. Sometimes I can’t believe is all about me. It’s like I’m living inside a movie, but I wake up and it’s all real. I see that it’s real and how much my life has changed. I still don’t know in which ways my life has changed, I’m still figuring that out. And I don’t know why but I think it’s going to take me a long time to figure it out. I guess it’s normal, don’t you think?

No More TV for Selena Gomez
Written by Violet on June 17, 2009 – 6:47 pm -
As soon as she can, Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez wants to call it quits to television series acting and concentrate on movies and college. While she is looking forward to filming WOWP again in August, the Disney star has her sights set on the future and wants to be like actresses who go to college and stay in the industry.
“I’m going to try to pull a Natalie Portman,” Gomez says, keeping her fingers crossed that she’ll get into and graduate from her “dream” school, Northwestern University.
“Natalie went to Harvard while shooting ‘Star Wars,’ ” she says, making it clear she’d like to move on to movies eventually.
“I don’t know how she did it. I want to have lunch with her and ask her – that seems like a bunch of stress right there.”
For now she is focusing on her work and not on the romantic rumours surrounding her. The 16 year old Gomez is thinking of studying drama and journalism in college.
